He's definitely not going to be any different in JAX.

yes he is; he's going to be playing. that's very different.

all i ask is that if tebow moves the ball and gets Ws, you give him his due. you guys think it's an impossibility for that to happen but you're wrong. enough about "media attention" and all that, the kid can play quarterback that's the matter at hand.

The kid can't play quarterback in the NFL, that's the matter at hand. He doesn't have the arm to do so, and the only reason he's in the NFL still is selling jerseys and for popularity, there are many better quarterbacks available than him. If you're hoping him to go back to the way he played at Denver, that's not going to happen. The reason he made the playoffs in Denver is the good players around him, plus a fair amount of luck. In Jacksonville, he will have no one.

Isn't Tebow partly to blame for his situation in NY?

IIRC, he could have been traded to Jacksonville during this past offseason, but he pushed to be traded to NY instead.

Tebow's a terrible conventional QB, but if you're willing to cater your offense to his strengths he's less terrible, maybe even upgrade from Sanchez. Most coaches are too stubborn to change their offense though, even if it would be good for the team.

John Elway has just confirmed my thoughts:

Elway also made it clear that Tebow chose the Jets, that the Broncos allowed him that opportunity. Tebow has stated on many occasions that it wasn't his call.

"We had two options: We had Jacksonville or the Jets," Elway said. "We laid it out to Tim and said, 'It's up to you.' I'm not going to tell you which deal I liked better, but I will tell you we did give him the option. He ended up picking the Jets, thinking that was the best opportunity for him."

I believe that Tebow was looking for the attention & advertising money in NY. He was trying to cash in on his wholesome image, instead of choosing the best place for him to succeed as a football player.

Or maybe he figured he'd have a better shot at supplanting Suckchez than Gabbert, Gabbert only being in his 2nd year and being given the benefit of the doubt as their QB of the future.
