Voting going on right now on the Trade Board for the most valuable contracts:

Check it out if you get a chance! I'm pushing for Harden right now!

I think that they usually reply.

I'm not even looking for a united Harden front. I really think that contract value-wise this is about where Harden belongs. I do think that Rose & Irving are too high on that list.

I'm totally bogarting Trader_Joe's thread idea for a Rockets thread.

I could be wrong, but I think I'm the most active Rockets fan on the trade board, actually.

I usually don't like to vote or make an argument for a guy just because he plays for the Rockets (though immediately I often did so for Kevin Martin - which made me feel like committing a horrible crime), but Harden certainly deserves to make the top-10 list. I'll vote for him once Anthony Davis is off the board -- I just think Davis age, size/length, (two-way) potential and contract status put him slightly ahead of Harden.

I actually might nominate Lin at some point, if he keeps playing like he has been the last few games. Marketability, combined with age, contract status & performance (both recent and during Linsanity) you very well could make an argument for him to be somewhere in the 20ths.

The list is already off though, IMO.
To me, Irving shouldn't be ahead of Davis. Irving is very good, don't get me wrong, but this league is filled with good to very good PGs, whereas there's a major lack of really good bigs. Irving also plays about as much defense as Kevin Martin.
Rose also seems to high coming off major surgery and while I love CP3, until he signs his next deal, I just don't see how he currently has that much trade value, as he'd mostly likely only re-sign with 5-10 teams anyway.

I closed the thread within 15 seconds when it had both Kobe and Melo listed.
Morey 2020.

Q:How are they experts when they're always wrong?
A:Ask a stock market analyst or your financial advisor
