Amazing Chris Bosh Article

Post#1 » by TripleMKE » Tue Dec 25, 2012 3:04 pm

This guy truly is a class act. I read an article on ESPN today and it was probably the best one I've read this year. It basically talked about Bosh's overcoming adversity since coming to Miami.

Everybody talks about how Lebron gets made fun of and "is the most scrutinized athlete in the history of sports", but I personally think Bosh had it worse than him. A very powerful pieces in the article is...
"I was just happy to be in the United States market," he said. "I had this talent that I wanted to showcase, and I wanted to show I'm one of the best players in the league. But when I get here, I'm the butt of a lot of jokes and all these things. I'm like, damn, what did I do? What did I do to deserve this?"

"It was this one thing during fashion week: I had my legs crossed, and they called me gay," Bosh said. "I've got my legs crossed, I'm chillin', I'm getting my grown man on at the event. It just seemed like anything I did, it was always chastised or made fun of."

When you think about it, what does Lebron get called? "Choker", "Not Clutch", "Mentally Weak". Now compare that to what Bosh gets called..."Gay", "F*g", "Feminine", "Soft". Bosh gets so much unnecessary and uncalled for hate. He's been my favorite player since his Toronto days, and I'm just glad to see he's a champion now. He's the main reasons I secretly root for the Heat (I'm a raps fan).

Anyways that's basically what the article talks about and I recommend everyone read it.

It was a good article, its just such a shame it took him getting injured in the playoffs for so many people to realize how much he brings to the game for the Heat.

CB doesn't need to talk. He's a champion, he's proven star player in this league and to those calling him gay, look at his wife. I bet none of the people who call him gay could ever get a girl as hot as CB's. That's basically like **** in their b**** faces.

Still a CB fan, hated that all we surrounded him with were Bargnani and Calderon...He's gonna be in the HOF when all is said and done.

The CB hate/ridicule always puzzled me. He's a good guy and a damn good player. The wave of idiocy following Summer 2010 just clung to his slow start and never relented. **** 'em. I like that he's comfortable with just going about and enjoying his life. People are stupid.

Everyone took a dump on the guy but I was always a supporter of him.

He went from being the #1 option to the guy that does all the dirty work in the paint.

He was the guy that had to sacrifice the most for the team.

Being form Toronto and all, I have always loved Chris Bosh. His move to Miami Heat to join up with King James and D. Wade was obviously in some eyes a cheap way out. People need to realize that Bosh tried in Toronto to get us a ring but Toronto Raptors management are morons. That is why Vince Carter left, and I do not blame either of them. Hell if I was an NBA superstar at the all star level like Bosh and Carter, I would leave after sometime to (I just wish Carter gets atleast 1 ring before he retires and Toronto retires his jersey, but thats another topic).

Anyways, yeah I have a lot of friends that make fun of him and call him ugly but I love Bosh. CB will always be one of my favorite ballers. For those of you who think hes riding D Wade and LeBron, think again we saw how important Bosh presents was in the playoffs last year. Also Bosh is playing a center when he should really be a PF. Either way hes trying to adapt even though he is undersized to play center (mass wise).

Thats my 2 cents on CB.

I miss Izzy G and Michael Wallace. I barely even read the Heat articles on the Herald now that Joseph Goodman took over.

I never really cared for Izzy, but I really liked Wallace's work at the Herald. Funny, given that I don't really care for his stuff at all since joining BSPN.

Agreed.

Amare don't play defense, so we need to get Chris Bosh.
Boozer is a loser, so we need to get Chris Bosh.
Bosh! Bosh! Bosh! Bosh! Bosh! Bosh! Bosh! Bosh! Bosh! Bosh! Bosh! Bosh! Bosh! Bosh! Bosh! Bosh! Come on, Pat Riley!
