Basically, it's creepy when someone tries to find ANY reason to hate on a person, or discredit anything positive they do. I can see that some of you rationally just don't like his style. But some of you others just take it too far, and find any reason to blame him for past, present, or future failures.

Do people not remember that for the 11-12 season, we were ranked in the bottom 5 in the league in the pre-season with most sports analysts? It was for a reason. We didn't have a very talented roster, and were very young. He got them to the playoffs. That's a pretty damn good feat coming from a guy in his first full season as a head coach, (actually, last season wasn't technically a full season either with 66 games.)

This season has been inconsistent to say the least. We're a deep team, but we have zero playmakers or stars. I actually thought our record would be worse at this point, considering the west got a little deeper in the off-season.

So what's my opinion of Corbin? He gets his players to play hard. That right there is a major feat in the modern NBA of egotistical players. He's built up chemistry for a team that I've rarely seen as a Jazz fan. And that just doesn't mean on the court, but all of these players like each other. They love being around each other. You can't be ignorant to the fact that Corbin definitely had a big part in that. As far as X's and O's go, he's been fairly good for such a young coach. Yes, he makes mistakes. But you name me one coach who wouldn't make mistakes being in Corbin's shoes. And please, for the love, don't name off names like the Van Gundys. Some of you seem to believe that we'd magically become a 60 win team with one of them as coach. There is no way in hell they would be that successful with this roster.

And after reading this article, it's pretty apparent that Corbin has his hands tied. And don't give me this BS about, a "real" coach would play all the young guys, and do what he wants. Please. Are you serious? This man is on his first contract as a head coach of an NBA team, and is making a damn good salary compared to the rest of us. Why would he risk his job by putting in inexperienced players? That makes no sense. It might make sense for a high school or college coach, but this is the NBA. It's a big business. Things work differently. He wants to win games, as he stated. And he admits that guys like Burks deserve time. But KOC brought in all of these vets for a reason, to play. What coach in this league would have the balls to bench a guy like Al making 13 million a year, and putting up 17 and 10? The same goes for Millsap, Mo, Marvin, ect. And even a guy like Foye, who's making a smaller amount, but he's still contributing to our team, and has proven his worth throughout his career. If you're going to bash someone, bash the front office. But that would be stupid as well. It's obvious they want the young guys to play as well. I mean, all of the vets are expiring after this season. There's a reason for that. And with the Big Al and Millsap rumors constantly being in the rumor mill, it's obvious that the front office is trying to find some room for the young guys.

Yes, at times, even I get frustrated with the front office and the coaching. But compare us to more than half the teams in the league, and we have it really good. Would you want to be a Minnesota or Charlotte fan right now?

Couldn't have said it better myself. Cheers mate :D
