If that's the case, why did they put themselves in a position to lose him for nothing?

Trying to go through Garpax's head when that decision was made. Bear with the humor.

Why sign Taj & not match Asik
- Flexibility for the "home run", 15mil that last year hurt
- Boozer amnesty inevitable, could be thin at PF in 2013/2014
- Taj was pretty good last year also

Why not trade Asik before lasts years trade deadline
- Team was considered a contender before last year's trade deadline. (No so much after the core was knocked out by an 8 seed)

Why not trade Asik 2 years ago
- No trade value & his exponential growth last season put Garpax in tough spot.

Misc
- D. Morey is a damn good GM

Well it's not that hard when the other team doesn't play any defense.

They players should actually reimburse tickets purchasers their money. People should be rewarded for watching this crap.

Teague should play the entire 4th, Keep Kirk seated. Let the rook get extra burn.

Harden just swings his elbows into your face with a full head of steam. How are you supposed to not foul on that without busting your face?

I agree.

The main issue is that there was another point that entirely evaded them which is "how can we avoid those 3 predicaments"
