I really don't see any role for Fisher on this team now. We have the leadership from Kobe/Nash and Pau, shooting from a crappy PG in Duhon and off the bench shooter in Meeks.

Morris has a defined role as an athletic PG defender. I can't see us clearing a roster spot for him either with DJO playing well in the D-league and Sacre looking decent in his minutes.

We already have a vet min guy warming the bench in Jamison.

Why do guys always want D-Mo cut ? It's don't work that way. Darius has found a role that he can excel at while working on improving other parts of his game. Hell his defense on Curry this past Saturday was decent, at least he didn't go berserk.

No thanks. Fish should just retire and handle his personal issues. As a player, again, he should retire.

Marc J. Spears @SpearsNBAYahoo

Lakers aren't interested in opening a roster spot to acquire Derek Fisher, Kenyon Martin or any other free agent, a source told Y! Sports.
