Statistically, it looks like a bad signing, but you never know. Would've preferred Steven Gray if he were available.

Know nothing about him other that he is a journeyman.

I liked what I saw of Chris Wright, but it won't matter much, Temple will be lucky to play at-all.

Temple has been pretty good in the D League. I posted some numbers in another thread. Small sample size, but still -- solid play. Worth a look.

http://www.nba.com/dleague/news/washing ... 12_23.html

Temple (6-5, 180, Louisiana State) has played in nine games for the Bighorns this season, averaging 14.7 points, 5.8 assists, 4.9 rebounds and 36.0 minutes. Temple led the Bighorns in scoring three times and was the assist leader in six games. He returns to the NBA having played in 51 career games for the Houston Rockets, Sacramento Kings, San Antonio Spurs, Milwaukee Bucks and Charlotte Bobcats during the 2009-10 and 2010-11 seasons. He owns NBA careers averages of 3.8 points, 1.1 rebounds, 1.0 assist and 11.1 minutes.

Its like Christmas all year long when you can bring up DL players.

Yeah, the Wizards are two-deep in star power at every position. Hope Temple's a good cheerleader.

OTOH, if I'm Ernie/Randy, I would consider this an opportunity to audition JC's replacement.

JC's replacement? Crawford is considered a building block for all we know.

He looks like a slimmed down Jared Sullinger.

Oh boy he looks bad. That last highlight is of him missing a break away layup...

Yeah.

Not much point in talking championship, however when you know the owner is aspiring simply to make the playoffs.

He looks like Raja Bell but plays like Jeremy Lin. Take that for what it's worth, good or bad.

If Wall comes back and they make the 8th seed, I'll be all in rooting for the Wizards.

At 4-22, in order for them to get to 40 wins, they would need to go 36-20. That would be the best basketball I've seen them play in the last 6-7 years, and a rate the Bullets last played at in the 80s.

Sure, make the 8th seed.
Bye bye Beal.

Mediocrity and ticket sales may be the owner's motivators. I am sick of thinking of how badly things are messed up for Washington. What I want to see is SOMEHOW the Wizards do like the Redskins. When the Skins were 3-6, nobody saw six straight wins and the possibility of a 7th, with the playoffs the prize.

If I'm going to delude myself why not? It would be a wild fantasy, but it is possible that Nene's outburst can be the rallying cry and the team can go something like 38-18 from the time of his comments. I guess anything is possible.
Bye bye Beal.

Garrett comes from a good family. I wouldn't be surprised at all if he finds a niche and sticks in the NBA. Signing Webster and giving him a shot are the only things I've liked in the past 6 months from the FO. Everything else has been stuff I didn't like or care about.
