Prince has been our most consistently good player, he definately does not need a minute reduction. And KNight is not good enough to play 40mpg. Singler is also a SF and hes playing SG, Daye has also played SG so I was thinking something more like this
Knight(33)/Bynum(10)/Stuckey(5)
Daye(20)/Stuckey(28)
Prince(33)/Singler(15)
Monroe(16)/Maxiel( 16)/CV(16)
Drummond(28)/Monroe(16)/Max(4)
See if Austin can handle being a catch and shoot SG, for all the crap Daye gets for his terrible footspeed, hes actually been doing well using his length to bother shots . Since his move into the rotation, Daye has rebounded the ball well and passed it well, avoiding the TO's that he's famously known for. His shots not falling right now but he obviously can shoot so Id gamble with him at SG for a few games. He can't be worse than Singler has been (Averaging 7 points/4 boards/1 assist on 35%FG, 27%3PT in 30mpg in December), we need to try something since we really need production in that SL.
Also, I'd reward Drummond for his good play, Max has been terrible this month and again (Averaging 7 points/6 boards on 37%FG in 26mpg in December) , we really need production in our starting lineup. We have 2 starters not contributing anything in Singler/Max and 2 underperfoming starters in Knight/Monroe, Prince is good but he's not good enough to carry the team.

No more comical than Singler starting at SG. In the few times that Daye played last season, he was used at SG. Heck, there were games where he started at SG due to injury

Singler is much better equipped to play SG than Daye is. Day is 6'11".. He is NOT a 2!!

Doesnt changed the fact that Daye has already had games where he started at SG, and Frank used him mostly as a SG ast season, so obviously he disagrees with you and that is what counts.
Paul George is also 6'11 and has played SG. Kevin Durant came into the league as a SG. We don't have a real SG that can spread the floor so we have to make do with what we have. Singler is obviously not working, its time to try something else.

You needn't go any further with your argument. Daye primarily played SG last year and was so bad that they buried his behind on the bench. I forget, what was his shooting percentage for the season?? Perhaps you can refresh my memory??
Btw, I totally respect you and your posts. I just disagree with your assessment of Daye as our starting SG!!

Daye has been bad at every position he's played, not just SG so your argument doesnt hold any weight. The fact of the matter is that we need production at SG and its time to experiment with another player and Daye is the best option we have available.

While I agree Daye has been terrible at every position, he has been better at others than he was at SG. That experiment was a total and utter failure!!

Our best starting lineup would be:
Stuckey (guards opposing 2s)
Knight (guards opposing 1s)
Prince
Monroe
Drummond
Bench should be all the youngsters:
Bynum
English / Middleton
Singler
Jerebko
Kravtsov
Trade bait: Maxiell, CV, Daye
Stuckey (guards opposing 2s)
Knight (guards opposing 1s)
Prince
Monroe
Drummond
Bench should be all the youngsters:
Bynum
English / Middleton
Singler
Jerebko
Kravtsov
Trade bait: Maxiell, CV, Daye

Yeah, I agree with this...I would ride our CV's contract and put Spaghetti/Bynum in the "trade bait" category...Our strict 3-guard rotation should be Knight/Stuckey/English...

We should trade for a SG, start Stuckey at PG and bring Knight in a Jason Terry role until he deserves to start again.
If Monroe continues to not rebound and be more concerned about scream and 1 instead of finish plays he should come of the bench as well and Drummond should take his place at the starting line up.

Re: Pistons v Hawks - Dec 26 - 7:30pm
When I heard the commentator saying "Bynum is 1 point shy from his career high", I knew Will would have finish this game by playing for himself, not for the Detroit Pistons. This guy is pure bull. A McGee and Blatche like player. I don't want to read any words about the idea of an inscreasing playing time for him. He's NOT a good team player, and a good player neither. He's a Nate Robinson guy, a Jamal Crawford of the very poor. That kind of player who will play for stats, who can take fire sometimes but not on a consistent basis, and who is a turnover prone.
Knight is learning the hardest job for a basketball player. He can't always be good. Be patient.
We should bring Big Ben back to bust Greg's ass a little. And we need to cut CV. He isn't good for Monroe. Since Charlie is playing, Monroe doesn't defend anymore. We've already seen what a player could become under CV's influence: Daye was bad, he is worst. Moose is still 22, he still needs to have a veteran hard worker next to him to show him the way.
My conclusions: KG was right, CV is a cancer for any team and any player.
I am not angry with losing since it's better for our ranking, to have biggest chances in the lottery.
Otherwise, I am happy with Drummond. No one expected him to play this way even if he makes some mistakes sometimes.
So, with Drummond 19, Knight 21, Monroe 22, the only word we can use is patience. Patience is what I'm starting to miss from Lawrence Frank though: the team overall level doesn't improve, offense is slow, no one is moving, like players don't have any instructions, like no plays are worked in trainings, and defense is bad and stays this way.

I think Knight is better off the ball. With his speed, slender build, and ability to catch and shoot, he should be a good off the ball player. Offensively he's a 2 but defensively he's a 1. Stuckey is the reverse. Stuckey has been efficient since getting back to a pg role. Think his change in efficiency had more to do w/ putting him on the ball than it had to do w/ moving him to the bench. Start Stuckey again and move Knight off ball.
I'm also done w/ Maxiell starting. Even if they insist on bringing Drummond off the bench all season, they got to get Maxiell out of a starting role. Now that he's no longer hitting that mid range shot, he's bogging down the offense too much.
