Perry Jones III

Post#1 » by hollasin35 » Wed Dec 26, 2012 12:58 pm

I haven't gotten to see many Thunder games due to where i live but is Jones that bad defensively that he can't get in & help take away some of the athletes the Heat have. Ppl have said he's a poor mans KD just a little better on defense. A line up of Westbrook Martin/Sef (either 1) PJ III KD & Serg should be a nice line up.

Could somebody that seen him play give me any info bout him

Both him and Lamb are rookies. With the Thunder so deep it is extremely hard to crack the lineup. Give him some time.

Scott Brooks is stupid, and a terrible coach. Really the only answer I can think of. Both Lamb and PJ3 need to be seeing more minutes, especially in our blowouts, in order to develop.

Perkins is terrible and a net negative. Play Ibaka and Collison more at the 4/5, Durant more at the 4, and find PJ3 minutes somewhere between the 3 and 4. Whichever presents the greatest match up advantage.

He's 6'11, can run the floor, pass the ball, dribble, and even knock down a jumper. He's versatile and athletic enough to guard multiple positions, and with his finishing ability and mobility I believe he could become a very good PnR player, especially with all the single coverage he'd see.

I would love to see a lineup of:

Westbrook
Martin
PJ3
Durant
Ibaka
