Sherman should have made it but didn't win his appeal before the voting ended.

Richard Sherman (over Tim Jennings) and Dez Bryant (over Victor Cruz) are the first two guys that come to mind.

I love how all three of the Giants selections are completely underhanded, popularity picks.

As for snubs, I'd take:

- Alfred Morris over Gore
- Victor Jackson over Cruz
- Richard Sherman over Peterson
- London Fletcher over Bowman
- Luke Kuechly over Matthews

Weird that I think all my snubs are in the NFC. I also really hate how rookies picks are frowned upon when it comes to Pro Bowl selections. I don't know why it bothers me, this game shouldn't even exist anymore.

I've heard that Sherman was left out because of the PED question. They assumed he would be ineligible and voted as such. It's why Joe Haden isn't there too, players who get suspended for PEDs are ineligible for Pro Bowl & postseason honors.

Honestly I couldn't care less about the Pro Bowl. I care about All Pro and the Pro Football Weekly honors.

I could see Gore, but why Bowman? He's had a better year than Willis this year, and he's one of the best ILB in the league.

Exactly. To me, the Pro Bowl is a real popularity contest, because a lot of worthy yet less popular players don't get in every year. The game itself is a real joke. Imo, it needs to be gone.

Definitely. Saturday got benched too, which makes the pick even more laughable.

I'm a big fan of Saturday (from his days with the Colts), but there were plenty of other centers that should have went instead of him.

Morris should be starting, considering he finished second in the league in rushing and was basically top 5 all year. But first alternate is no shame. Fletcher was good enough to get in but Willis/Bowman are beasts, so I can live with that.

How the **** is Jeff Saturday a Pro Bowler? That is one of the biggest Pro Bowl jokes in history and really tells me how ignorant fans/players/coaches can be. Should have been Vikes C Sullivan, dude is a beast and has been making holes for Peterson all year.

Also, Dez Bryant should have gotten in, but for years the Cowboys have gotten garbage players to Hawaii(see: Roy Williams)so a bit of reverse karma at work there.
Eric Maynor is the worst basketball player I've ever seen.

Daryl Washington did not get in and he was the best ILB in the league, on a top defense too and statistically anyway..

Washington
108 solo tackles 9 sacks 1 int

Fletcher
78 solo tackles 3 sacks 5 int

Willis
88 solo tackles 0.5 sacks 2 int

Bowmann
97 solo tackles 2 sacks 1 int

Washington is very good no doubt, but looking just at tackles isn't the best stat. The best defenses get off the field quickly, which means they don't have as many plays and thus have fewer tackles.

Fletcher went like 10+ years without making the Pro Bowl. Sometimes you gotta pay your dues.

Surprised to see Brooks making the team since he's usually overshadowed by Smith, Willis and Bowman.
