I said this on the Cavs board and I'll say it here. I think in his prime, Drummond will be a hybrid of ben wallace and dwight howard.

Also, what is the season high for points in a game by a rookie this season? just curious.

Anybody wonder how good a backcourt of Lillard and Irving would had been?

No.

2 PGs doing the same thing only makes sense on 2K13....in reality one of them struggles with SGs.

On the other hand it's sad that the Cavs could have paired Kyrie with Valanciunas and Drummond instead of TT/Waiters and still be in the running for Shabazz, Wiggins or Parker - could have been a ridiculous team of the future....just sad.

It would be the worst defensive backcourt in the league.

Andre Drummond with 10 points 10 rebounds in a win against the heat. They don't win without him. Hes a game changer.

He did that in 23 minutes. He was +12.

Davis is pretty skilled on the off end, better by far than what I supposed.

And he'll only get better with Gordon creating more space and plays for him.

Good game by Drummond tonight. No one really pays attention to him but he played with physicality and grabbed a lot of boards.

Reminds me of Derrick Favors last season when we played the Jazz. He did the same thing.

Good analogy. I said in Summer League he reminded me of a 7 foot Ben Wallace. Which is essentially a Ben/Dwight Hybrid.

He;s got MVP potential.

w/e I've been saying that for months, and he's certainly not doing anything to change my mind of late.

16/12 vs ATL and 10/10 vs MIA in only 23 min, plus game changing defense.

His last 4 he's avg 10/12 in only 26 mpg. PER 36 thats 14/17 with no plays run for him, and he's only 19. He puts up double doubles in 20+ min without even breaking a sweat. The kids a phenom.

Detroit fans are starting to sound more and more like Portland fans regarding their young players. I do like Drummond and I think if he develops then he could be an All-Star. MVP talk is nothing short of ridiculous right now. I wouldn't even mention Kyrie Irving with "MVP" talk and he is a 20 year old averaging 23ppg and 6apg on near 50% shooting.

As a Pistons fan, I agree the MVP talk is over the top by quite a bit. Future DPOY? Reasonable.

Damian Lillard has that with 29 points against the Spurs.

Thoughts? Not sure if posted before

http://wagesofwins.com/2012/12/28/is-gi ... -bad-idea/

However, what don’t see in the numbers is a significant drop off in productivity
when Drummond’s minutes increase. In fact, we see the exact opposite! And the truth is that regardless of his minutes played, Drummond has been making significant impact when he plays.

It appears that the Pistons have literally won the lottery with Andre Drummond, and the only thing holding him back is minutes.

You must've never heard analysts say he has Dwight Howard potential.

Was Howard not a perrenial MVP candidate in his prime?

Put 2 and 2 together, buddy.

I don't remember anyone saying Irving has Nash or Paul potential, thats why no one says he has MVP potential.

Ross unfortunately had one of the dunks of the year taken away from him thanks to Amir Johnson holding Smith's arm for a fraction of a second, which probably had no effect on the end result anyway. Sigh.

Almost topped it on the break after too, but got up too high and smashed his forearm on the rim as he was fouled.

I'm sure video will be up for these soon.
