Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins stormed out of an interview with the media Thursday at the team’s practice facility.

At the end, a reporter tells Cousins that he appears to be angry.

I wouldn't really say he stormed off lol.

I'd rather keep DMC, but if we were going to trade him I'd rather trade him for Monroe than Celtic or San Antonio scraps.

This is a pipe dream. Pistons arent giving up anything valuable for Cousins, if they do pursue him at all. This tweet is from Pistons beatwriter Vincent Goodwill;

#Pistons have been interested in DeMarcus Cousins in the past but they won't make a play for him now, for obvious reasons

http://twitter.com/vgoodwill/statuses/2 ... 2469416961

It echoes what Pistons.Com writer Keith Langlois said, if Detroit is interested it wont be for anything valuable.

That tweet from Goodwill was from a couple days ago, and Matt Dery said last night he thinks the Pistons would consider a trade for Monroe. He made it sound like the Pistons are still giddy over Cousins talents and think they could get him in check and reach his full potential here.

I wouldn't take anything Langlois says in those mailbag entries seriously. Its all politically correct PR.

Who knows who's telling the truth, but I have to think the Pistons would know they couldn't get Cousins without giving up any of their main pieces. And both Dery and Ford said they would interested if he became available. So if the Pistons traded for Cousins, I think it would almost have be Monroe. Not only is he probably the only player the Kings would accept in a trade, but because we'd need to open that starting spot to make room for Cousins.

As a Pistons fan, I wouldn't mind seeing a Monroe for Cousins swap IF (and a big if) Sac will send the Pistons their 2013 #1 pick. That might be a bit much to ask though. Also, I might be willing to throw in a role player that fills another need for your team.

Wow that was tough to watch. Why did he even do the interview if he was going to answer like that.

^I think that all players are required to make themselves available for interviews after games or practices.

As a Bulls fan ....what would Sac want besides Noah and Rose??

They have CHA pick
2013 1st(about 20-25)
Expiring(Rip)
Marquis Teague-He plays much like his brother Jeff, but better defensively.
Deng expires after this season.

Or maybe you guys wait for a better package??

Notice I mentioned no Boozer........It's because bulls want to hold on to him for the amnesty clause to have cap space in the summer of 2014.

Are you serious? Why would the Kings throw in a'13' #1 for a swap of lottery picks? This is what I would like to see if the Kings were to trade Cousins to the Pistons.

Wait about 3 weeks and trade both Cousins and Thompson for Monroe, Drummond & Daye. This way the Kings would have that big mobile center that could block shots and rebound plus run the floor that you need beside Monroe who is really a PF. Daye still has an opportunity to improve and reach his potential and would add length and the ability to knock down shots at SF.

If necessary the Kings could add Robinson to this package since it looks like James Johnson is capable of backing up and playing the 4.

^We're not trading Drummond, so get that idea out of your mind right now...We'll do a Monroe for Cousins+Future 1st rounder and call it a day...

Haha there is not a chance in hell that you would be able to get a 1st out of that deal.
It's closer to us getting the 1st rounder if anything, and before you say "but he is a head case" don't forget that the Pistons are interested, not the other way around, the Kings want to keep Cousins because they know what he will become, and DMC wants to be here as well.

That is such a bait question by the reporter. "You seem angry. Are you angry?" He shouldn't have stormed off though. He should have just said, "no more questions for you."

Then, let's call it day and the Pistons would just keep what they have and the Kings keep what they have and since it seems that the Pistons are the ones interested; it hurts them more.

Have a nice day!!!!
