Nets waive Josh Childress

Post#1 » by 624 » Sun Dec 30, 2012 6:50 am

Nets PR Dept. Nets PR Dept. ‏@Nets_PR
The Brooklyn Nets have requested waivers on forward Josh Childress, Nets GM Billy King has announced.

Howard Beck ‏@HowardBeckNYT
Josh Childress was waived at his own request. He didn’t see a role here and asked Billy King for his release before the game tonight.

Great...now sign K-Mart.

And waive Stackhouse too. Trade Hump and Brooks for Boozer. Sign some 3pt specialists, and give Tele more playing time.

It's unreal how bad our spacing is at times.

Wasn't expecting a huge impact fro him, but there was something off with Childress the entire time he was here.

He looked nothing like the player who suited up for the Atlanta Hawks, no wonder he could never carve out a role in Phoenix. For whatever reason the energy with Childress is gone, and he's content to chuck up long-twos instead of attacking the rim.

Hopefully this means the Nets bring in Ike Diogu, or Terrence Williams or Josh Boone.

I'm holding out for Sean May. "I piss excellence."

Might be extremely difficult to do that. May is currently leading Paris-Levallois to the best record in the Pro A league (France), and is wrecking mayhem on the competition.

20.7 ppg 7.1 rpg 2.2 apg .640 FG% .821 FT%

*Leads league in scoring.

Are the Bulls looking to move Boozer? Because if they aren't, I'm not sure why they do that deal for Humphries and Brooks.

Too young though, must be brothers from another mother.

To save an overall 24 million dollars, pick up a prospect and get closer to avoiding the tax?
