I don't disagree with marketing our team as "Canada's team," but the maple leaf here, in this case, is a bit overbearing. Looking at the others, it seems like they are going with a more retro look, so why not go with our secondary logo instead?

It's just a money grab for the teams, I could care less what hat they wear during batting practice.

money grab or not, I know of a few already that love, love the Mets and Reds hats. It's like the 3rd Jersey's or throwbacks that the NFl comes out with every year (which baseball is starting to do). Money grab yes, but you get to wear something a little rarer to the stadium which is nice. Too bad about the Jays hat though.

They're really pushing the whole "Canada's team" agenda on this one.

I agree with Ozzy that it's a meaningless cash grab but did anyone honestly think that Maple Leaf looked good?

And if the theory with both the Jays and the Raptors is that incorporating a Canadian flag into the marketing will somehow make a difference to prospective Canadian fans outside of Southern Ontario -- well, how dumb do they think those people are?

Those all look great (like the fourth one best) , and the whole "Canada's Team" thing is getting overdone imo.

Couldn't they just put something like a realistic looking blue jay picture instead of the maple leaf.

Yeah they look better, but not a fan of the stitching on the bill of the caps.

Really? Those look worse than ours. I don't care if they're retro or whatever, they're stupid.

Unlike the Braves in their last eight playoff appearances, he would appear to have the climactic moment.

I thought it was only the Raps who had to push so hard on this Canadian theme. Fans around the country don't mind being associated with the Jays.

I have actually been looking for a hat (haven't owned one since the early 90's). But this ain't it.
