Yes please to cutting Cook haven't hate a Rocket this much since McGrady in his last year...

I also really like to give Machado more time.

you hate cook that much? where the hell all these haters come from. cook barely gets any playing time how can you hate him lol . he's done better than machado in limited minutes. he had that 17pt game vs his former team, i think 3 or 4 3pters. machado cant even make one three pointer lol

Hrmn, since Patty Pat is unlikely to be traded, if there is a trade coming, this means we're probably unloading a large chunk of our power forward prospects...

Royce White's assignment to the D-League now seems so... perfectly timed.

White and Machado to be cut.

White situation speaks for itself.
Machado is struggling in the Dleague, he aint gonna make it. And why would this team need 4 PG?

Why would Morey leak FA signing before a trade is official? There is no trade.

There is zero chance they cut White.

Yeah, I was thinking that other guys will get moved so Royce will have to be in a position to contribute in the near future. Probably wanted to take his temperature, see if he's still in basketball shape, all that...

Doesn't matter now. I think as gambles go, it was worth a shot. Many other mid 1st round picks wash out of the NBA in less despicable fashion, but they wash out none the less.

I don't really want Cousins anywhere near this team. His attitude has been terrible. I'm all for second chances, but not 4th, or 5th chances. His play isn't that great either, not efficient at all.

What's the deal with the Beverley signing? What's the purpose of adding Beverley?

I know we are expected to sign him, but I haven't read an official notice yet. Have we signed him?

If we have, I expect Toney Douglas to be moved and we need a backup point guard who can nail the open three and bring the ball up court.

The Beverly thing got really loud, but I haven't heard a thing since the original report.

haha I have a good resaon.

My freshman year, after bball season Cook, along with Lighty & Othello would come out and play pickup. Cook is the most obnoxious, arrogant, loud mouth I have ever meet. He would come into the gym like he has tourette's just randomly cursing clapping his hands saying lego... smh

Then he talk so much trash to me on the court, mind you I never got dunk on, he never drove on me his handles weren't even that nice. But he could shoot... lights out, from anywhere, he was a beast shooter I could never contest the shoot but I would always do the hand in the face right on the nose, he was still deadeye.
I would always tell him wtf are you talking so much for you're going to the NBA...smh

Its like he would get mad at me for guarding him, like what would you prefer we not play defense?
Lighty & O were awesome guys though.

There was only one other guy on the court who came close to Cook's level of douchery and he was 3rd string QB who transfer out and still was a back up.

Heard earlier today that the Rockets are waiting on FIBA clearance before they ink the deal with Patrick Beverly.

Hope it happens soon if that's the case!

The month of January is the Rockets real test. So many games to play with too few days off in between and most games n the road . Hellish part of the Schedule

Tonight is Milwaukee (hint) and tomorrow is Cleveland. I won't say that those games are sure things, but those are two games that the Rockets should have a good shot at winning if they play up to their full ability.

My ideal situation is to put tonight's game to bed early and limit the starter's minutes in the second half.
