I noticed that too but it was a kind of jazzed up version that you kinda had to
be paying attention to to realize that's what it actually was.

Nate the Scape(goat).

thanks for sharing

Yes. I take full responsibility. In the portion of the game that I watched, the Wizards lost 51-36.

I also don't believe all this talk about Beal playing well. If I didn't see it, it didn't happen. :D

I thought the rule was if you didn't write it down, it didn't happen.
His stat line was reasonably good, so I'm going with it happened.

Here is one of the Jan shooting stories Dob, I must have read 3 or 4 since he was drafted.

thanks for the link.

never heard of the shooting guru mentioned which just proves how little I know.

The guy that really built my daughters shot just has players practicing
flipping the ball into the basket at point blank range until you can do
it at least 10/10. Then start moving back (slowly). Ves mechanics don't appear
to my untrained eye as necessarily bad but it's obvious he struggles with
touch. That ought to be something that is fixable with reps. Just wish
we'd see more evidence of this happening.

That's the same technique I use to keep my shot fairly sharp if I haven't played in a while. It's also helpful to do a mini-version of that right before starting a pickup game (especially if it's at a court you've never played on before).

I got that years ago from a Fred Hoiberg VHS tape I bought. LOL

Sounds like we should sign LyricalRico then. Sounds like a better shooter than Ves already. Are you long, mobile, athletic, with an explosive first step?

I've played ball with Rico. The answers to those questions are: "no", "no", "no", and "no". :D

Dude, I forgot about that! (And was hoping you had, too. LOL) Nothing like hooping it up on the mean streets of Crofton.

Perfect, enter the draft and EG will call his # by late first round, guaranteed!! :o

On the "Wall guessing game" my guess is they'll bring him back and practically insist he play as long as possible.. We all want to preserve him, and the tank, but unfortunately Ted needs to sell tickets and EG needs to attempt to keep his job.. They'll put both agendas ahead of the health of a potential franchise building block, I would almost bank on it.. :-?

Sweet! And as a backup plan, I could change my name to "Lyrical Rico-vich-sky" so that I"m at least guaranteed to be a draft-and-stash second rounder. Phone Booth - here I come!
