Re: Lebron, Cleveland vs. Miami
He seemed to step forward over the line after every Free Throw (I thought he actually committed like 4 lane violations) but that was helping him follow through since most of his misses this season at the line have been short.
He changes his free throw stroke every 5 games so maybe this was just for today but it looked good coming off his hands at the line today.

Dude showed he can still get to the line at will. I'm glad he didn't just keep chucking jumpers today, it's nice to see him drive like that when things aren't going for him.

I have no idea how he keeps improving his FG% and eFG%, but he does it every year. Can he keep up this insane efficiency?

Easily, his TS% last year was pretty much the same as it is now, this isn't unprecedented territory for Lebron. His 3 point shooting won't sustain like this, but I'd also expect him to start getting more FTA, which will negate the decline in 3P%. He'll finish the season at 61-62 TS%.

His team improves and has better offensive players every year. Lebron always takes the smart shot and never forces up anything. He is just being more unselfish for the better of the team. He doesn't have to take over and close every game night in and night out like he had to in Cleveland.

He's shooting better than 91' Jordan this year. It's sickening how efficient he's been this year on offense. Might this be his best year yet?

Re: Lebron, Cleveland vs. Miami
Lebron seems to have fixed his FT shooting, he's shooting 81% in the last 12 games and is 6-6 so far tonight. Somehow he's 8 of 13 tonight on "true" attempts despite missing all his jumpers and several easy bunnies at the rim.

This is random, but I just want to add that it's really been a treat to watch this guy perform throughout his career. I'm far from a Cavaliers or Heat fan but I've followed him closely pretty much from day one. We're witnessing a once-in-a-generation type of player who is constantly tweaking and improving his game even though he's been the best for a while. He's the closest thing to a virtuoso basketball player I've seen since MJ, if there's such a thing.

Another all-out slashing game from LeBron. Jumper off, but he still had a great game. Was a lot of fun to watch. Dallas sure didn't see a player with this ability in a certain series.

If he can keep getting to the line like he has the past couple games and convert at around 78%, he will challenge for the scoring title.

Re: Lebron, Cleveland vs. Miami
I like his penchant for going to the line as of late, especially if he keeps making them like the last two games. He did have some silly turnovers, the kind that I expect to disappear come playoff time.

That's also 7 straight 25+ games, 30 straight 20+ games to start the season and 35 straight 20+ games overall since last April.

I think so. He seems like a freak hybrid if 09 Lebron combined with 2012 Lebron, just hella smarter. It seems like he sees the games with game speed sliders set lower than anyone else

Yep, this is LeBron's best season so far imo. He can do whatever he wants out on the court pretty much, and he knows it.
He's my clear choice for MVP.

In terms of ability, no doubt this is his best year.
I still feel like his effort level is somewhat inconsistent. I haven't watched Lebron since Christmas though but before that I thought his effort on defense and rebounding was a bit lazy, maybe he has picked up his activity since. I'm not an ability guy, I'm a production guy, it doesn't matter to me if someone could do certain things but chooses not to. It is why I became a huge fan of Lebron because Lebron might be the most consistent player of all-time. He was always someone that gave you 100% in every game regardless of whether or not it was a regular season game or a post-season game.

I'm a firm believer that his "laziness" is mainly attributed to his workload from 2012. He's a freak, but still technically human (hard to believe). If he played playoff caliber offense and defense night in night out, he wouldn't be 100% for the playoffs, which is obviously more important.
He's still got it in him. You see it in close games like the one we just saw.
