Welcome Ak-47 back!

Post#1 » by QuantumMacgyver » Wed Jan 2, 2013 5:27 pm

As a Jazz fan a sincerely hope that Andrei receives a warm welcome tonight. It's embarrassing how often supposed Jazz fans boo returning players. Boozer, D-Will, Fisher, even Wes Mathews. In all honesty I can understand booing Boozer and Fisher, but D-Will and Wes is excessive and petty. Do you all think AK gets more jeers or cheers?

AK has said that he's excited to go back to Utah and that it should be a special night for him. He also says he still remembers the faces in the first 20 rows. He is playing really well for Minnesota and I hope he receives a warm welcome in Utah.

Good luck tonight fellas. Should be a fun game, unless I throw the remote at the TV again if Millsap has 8 steals against us.

Ill be embarrassed if Jazz fans boo him. The guy deserves nothing but a great ovation. I am looking forward to this game tonight.

I always liked AK. Of course I hope we win. I wish we could have kept him somehow. We need to cheer him. He was a good guy. Boozer did not care for the Jazz so I can unerstand the boos, but he was a good player and I would not even boo him.

I think everyone should just have a good cry when he comes out in honor of his memorable but very passionate breakdown he had years ago. Thats how we should honor him, no boos.

I am a Jazz fan. I support Jazz players with cheers. I do not boo against former players, only against dirty play.

AK was a treat to watch in 2004 and a very likable guy. I will always be disappointed that he did not put in the time necessary to warrant the salary the Jazz payed him based on his potential. His salary verses performance drug down our team for years.

I wish AK was playing on the Jazz. I don't think the fans will boo him.

Here's a vid from after shootaround. The volume is low but he says a lot of good things about Utah. Enjoy.

Seriously crossing my fingers that he gets a warm welcome. Glad to see that's the overall consensus among jazz fans here.

Ak deserve it. His heart is always was with Utah. And still is.
Stockton, Malone, Hornacek, Kirilenko. Who else was loving Utah so much in the past days? None
