Practice?

Early on in tonight's game just as Omer ("O" Means "Offense") got rolling, Matt Bullard made a comment about how Asik has been working with Donatus Motiejunas on his offensive skill set every day at practice and in warmups for the games. In the few games I've been to so far this season I have seen them working together, doing the same plays over and over again with Motie defending against Omer.

Just goes to show that Practice does mean something.

Motie hasn't been getting the minutes yet, but he has done his D-League assignments, he has been supportive in practice working to help better others and he has done his best to take advantage of the few minutes he has seen so far. He is doing everything he needs to do to earn the right to play on an NBA court.

Just like Greg Smith. Just like Marcus Morris. Just like so many other guys who understand and appreciate the opportunity that they have in front of them. Can't help but cheer for guys like this.
