Actually, recent rumors have it that the Raptors are open to trading Lowry and keeping Calderon. The reasoning I've heard is that the team is much better defensively and ultimately wins more games with Calderon at the helm.

I wouldn't mind trading for Jose, though. Dude is exactly what we need, imho.

Wait... what? Jose is an awful defender... dunno how they could possibly be a better defending team with him on the floor.

I either read the article wrong or took it at face value - Lowry is actually known as the better defender. Actually, since coming back from injury Lowry has been very good for the Raptors. There was probably nothing to the "rumor" in the first place.
