SAC/DET/WASH/BOS

Post#1 » by retrolenny » Wed Jan 2, 2013 10:30 pm

How's this for a blockbuster trade?? There are a lot of pieces involved and it took me a little while to make the salaries match but strangely enough, I think it will improve all teams...

http://basketball.realgm.com/tradecheck ... de/6192812

Detroit Out:
Moose
Bynum
Singler

Detroit In:
John Wall
Jared Sullinger
Sac conditional 1st

Why: We gain a true point guard and have one of the best 3 guard rotations in the league and also get a good post up rookie in Jared Sullinger.

Wall/Stuck
Knight/Stuck
Prince/Daye/JJ
Sullinger/CVMax
AD/Ben/Max

Boston Out:
Jason Terry
Avery Bradley
Jared Sullinger
1st

Boston In:
Demarcus Cousins
Will Bynum

Bos gets a whole lot tougher by bringing in Cousins. They also don't really lose much on offense by bringing in Bynum off the bench.

SAC Out:
Demarcus Cousins
Tyreke Evans

Sac In:
Greg Monroe
Avery Bradly
Kyle Singler
Jan Vesely

They get out of their headcase in Cousins and receive Monroe, Singler, Vesely, & Bradley. Giving up a conditional 1st shouldn't be an issue with all of the young prospects they get in return

Wash Out:
John Wall
Jan Vesely

Wash In:
Tyreke Evans
Jason Terry
Bos 1st

Wall is a much greater talent than the oft injured Evans. I think if any one is getting the shaft and would probably say no to this deal it's Wash. They would have to take on the aging Terry's 2 year contract but would also receive a Bos 1st, which will probably be a lotto pic this year. And if Cousins doesn't mesh well with the team, it could be a high draft pick. Wash is so crummy that none of their players, except for Beal should be considered untouchable.

Thoughts???

Pretend Washington has Drummond instead of Wall, and in this trade you've got Drummond going out instead of Wall. That's about how Washington would view this one.

You're really bad at making trade scenarios. I would consider quitting. Not even retire since you never had it going on. You should quit and never start again.

To be kind, Washington gets absolutely destroyed in this deal, among other issues.

To be honest, I haven't seen that many trade ideas on this site that are realistic.

On the proposal I don't see it working for the Kings or Pistons... the Kings need all the picks they can get.

If I'm being totally honest Sullinger is not that far away from Monroe either side of the ball and his game compliments DRE... yet G.M. gets the team concept and has the added value of being a 4/5 with length.

I'd love to have John Wall on this team but Sullinger is trash...Good try though bro...

What about this one?
http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=balpcqa

Detroit gets:
David Lee
Klay Thompson
Draymond Green

Detroit will get a skill PF with skills and can hit a jumper as well that can Drummond can benefit from the trade. Klay Thompson is a up and coming shooting guard, and Draymond Green will be an energy play for Detroit.

Golden State gets:
Greg Monroe
Rodney Stuckey
Tayshaun Prince

Golden State will get a star in years to come in Greg Monroe and he also fits into Golden State's style of offense. Rodney Stuckey compliments with Steph Curry and Tayshaun can provide veteran leadership (plus he's from Cali).

I actually like this trade but I don't think either team would do this.. It's MUCH better than my effort. I think my trade would've been great if I found a way to get Wash some talent in return!!

Not sure why you wanna unload Moose. I'm not sure you can get Washington to get on boards. Evans/Wall swap is terrible. If Detroit is shipping out Moose. I'd cut out Boston. Redirect Cousins going to Washington while Wall and Evans come to Detroit..

Return to Detroit Pistons
