They can. Just not consistently.

If Shump comes back and plays defense like he's capable of doing, the Knicks defense should be consistently top 5 again. He's the type of guy that makes everyone else's job on defense easier, especially Chandler.

Lin with another stinker. Where's Bill Bradley with his "upward trajectory"?

Shump is such a playmaker defensively. And he's a decent scorer as well.

It is my dream that the Bulls and Heat play in the playoffs and both teams disintegrate.

Him and Ibraheim only come around when he does well. So you will see them again in a month or so when Lin plays well for 3-4 games saying "see we gave up a gem". Lin will then go back to his usually scrubness and they will be nowhere to be found.

It is actually quite sad.

You two are straight up clowns.

Again, you can't just look at boxscores to know what happened in a game- and you can at least read a recap before posting about it. Lin had a crappy first half and had his head busted open that required stitches and limited his time. But he came back in the fourth with 8 points, 4 assists, and 2 steals which helped seal the victory.

Have you two clowns noticed that the Rockets have been playing like one of the best teams in the league for more than the past month, and this is directly correlated with Lin's improved play and McHale's proper use of Harden and Lin? Of course not, because you just look at point totals in the boxscore.

I don't post here after Lin has a good game. I only post to point out your stupidity, which is unfortunately much too often.

About to jump on a plane so hopefully someone else can discuss your idiotic points of view with you while I'm away.

So your new motto is "Box scores lie"? And you're calling other people "clowns"? LOL.

Now you're claiming that an 8/7 game with 6 TOs is a "good" game for Lin and that he "contributed" to the win? And you dare use the word "stupidity"? Check out Toney Douglas' stats sheet and come back to me with that one. But I forgot - "Box scores lie" - you need to read the recap. LOL. And one more "lying" stat - Lin was (-4) in w game that the Rockets won by 14.

What happened in NO? Did he also "bust his head"?

But this is all blasphemous, we all know Jeremy Lin is on track to be the league MVP, based on a stretch of 5 decent games. Hey, if we ignore all the bad games, the upward trajectory is still there.

You have no shame do you?

Bill if you can avoid quoting those two in your replies I would greatly appreciate it. I have found the ignore list to be helpful with this. Those guys are like screaming children most of the time and I honestly think one of them is a 14 year old. Please try out the ignore function its like noise canceling headphones. Anyway I watched that game on league pass and wow that was a brutal cut. Props to him for coming back and playing hard also James Harden is a monster. Hollinger has these guys ranked 4th which is a bit high I think but I do expect them to be a 5-7th seed in the playoffs baring injury. Keep posting man solid work.

Wow, 4th? Interesting. They have been looking like a real playoff contender lately, and fun to watch. Impressive for the youngest team in the league. It seems as if they need another good big to go with Asik...maybe Motiejunas will eventually see playing time.
