I think like literally 1 or 2 people called him a 'bust' already. Maybe not even. Give it a freakin rest.

CCJ this game hurts bad but I'm happy with the way Beal played. I think he will have one hell of a 2nd half of thw season. We just cant close a game out

Crap!

Oh well. It was his rebound total that was a real threat to surpass his foul total. He has some cushion in the points department. He now stands at 57 fouls, 54 rebounds, and 52 points.

In a year of bad losses, this probably was the worst. Serious choke job by Crawford and Nene with that foul on Lopez up 1 with 14 seconds left in 1st OT.

Really. You have zero cred if that is what you think.

He gave the game away. What were you watching?

If you don't find this loss to be heartbreaking, I don't think you're a fan. They lost a double digit lead with about a minute to go! Mind-blowing foul by Nene to send them to the line with a 1 point lead! I mean seriously, the only positive that will affect the future is Beal playing well.

Last three games, Beal has averaged 20 points. He is 23-50 FG and 8-15 3PT. He is now throwing down dunks and hitting clutch threes at 19 years old.

The Wizards missed some FTs but otherwise took a good team to the wire. This is a quality loss.

Noboby owns up to anything around here. Only when they are right. :D

Beal was terrific tonight but he still has a ways to go. Some were calling him a bust. Now I see after tonight's game, he's the next D-Wade. I think he'll be fine as long as he keeps growing and getting better. Might be pretty scary playing with Wall. Maybe playing the first 35 games of the season without Wall was a blessing in disguise for him (not the team).

Oh. Ok. Guess Im not a fan.

Sure they didn't close it out but man, I have seen much more heartbreaking games from them then that.

This one was actually awesome in so many ways. Very entertaining. Nene started on fire. Crawford was money all game. Beal is really stepping it up. Even made a big time clutch shot. Temple is impressive.

I'm looking bigger picture. Wall returns soon. So does Trevor A.

That was a vet team right there. Wizards played well. Closing. That is something a team learns to do. Specially when they add more talent like Wall and Trevor A.

Heartbreaking. LOL. Hell no. I may even watch it again.

Finally sounds like Beal is stepping up. Hopefully his jumper continues to fall more consistently.

How did the crowd react when Dray checked in?

They booed him every time he touched the ball.

Blatche had 13 points, 12 rebounds, and 4 steals in 20 minutes.

Nene had 6 rebounds in 36 minutes.

I would have played Okafor a little more in the 2nd half or went with Singleton. WIz were just getting hammered on the boards.

We will never know what would have been best. What we do know is that for the last three games, you can see a difference. Kid is starting to ball with confidence and focus. Like he matured overnight. I see no more smiley face. I see quicker decisions and a quicker release.

He is looking a lot better. Got not problem with him starting if he plays like that. And Crawford backing him up. That's a nice combo. Next we will have Wall/Temple and Price at PG.

The team is starting to take form.

They will be good. Just wait.

There is no such thing as a heartbreaking loss anymore. When expectations are so low, you feel nothing when they lose. You can only be surprised at wins.

Wall+Beal is going to be a lot of fun to watch.

Not long now.

QFT. I felt nothing at this loss. In fact I might have even smiled.

You both must be robots. I don't live for the draft anymore. Tanking has solved nothing. When you're up 8 in overtime and can't close, that's heartbreaking. I don't care if we had 4 wins.

I don't know, I think I am with Floater and Dat on this one. Sure, I was mildly disappointed, but heartbroken? Nah.

It has nothing to do with the draft. It has everything to do with being 4-26 and realizing that this is a real bad team. A loss really doesn't mean that much at this point. Its not like this team has a shot at going anywhere this year.

The only good thing about being a fan of a crappy team is that you don't feel too much pain after a loss, and wins are just pleasant surprises. At this point in the season, all I am hoping for is an entertaining game and some development from Beal and hopefully Wall. Anything else, including wins, is just gravy.

Yep, just on-time for the Wiz to win a little and Ernie keep his job.

Just glad to see Beal doing his thing. All I really care about anymore.
