trade idea...helps all...feedback

Post#1 » by Skip2MY » Sat Jan 5, 2013 6:35 am

Simple idea and hopefully helps all...

Mike Miller and James Jones

For

Kris Humphries

Why? For us it's easily for the rebounding... decent man to man defense...still fits the plan(expires next season)...can play the 4 and 5...has decent range...last two seasons on the nets was a double double player with no plays ran for him. Would honestly like to see how he'd look starting next to the big 3 and chalmers.

For Brooklyn he's becoming a cancer...I think it's because Blatche has taken his minutes... but he has been getting dnp- coaches decision for awhile under Avery and has now passed on to Carlisimo. He is getting no time. He was originally signed to such a deal to package for Dwight but that's no longer happening. So this is straight salary dump...almost a 3 million drop this season...if Miller doesn't retire and Jones takes the option which I can't see...they still save almost 4 million and save almost 5 mil without Jones.

Don't know if one side should give more it or not...but thought this was interesting.

Use the other thread...

We'd probly say yes, but I can see Nets saying no. Hump's a great insurance to have & will be a good filler for trades this deadline & next.

I'd do it in a heartbeat. Which means, of course, that Brooklyn would never do it.

Brooklyn will not do this..

He is worth much more than both of them. I doubt adding our draft pick will help. He is also great insurance for them.

its not just who we have its how we use them, how we prepare and what adjustments we make.

I feel like we dont put our players in a position to succeed and we dont use the them to the best of their abilities.
1. Herro 2. Bol Bol 3. Seko 4. Bruno
unless we trade up for Barrett or trade down for PJ Washington

1.Why not use the trade thread?

2.Not even close to being realistic. Miller's contract is toxic. Chernobyl toxic. Dont even bother trying to trade him, no team is taking him unless we also give up one the big 3 with him.

im not even sure we develop our bench players. Ronny Turiaf made a comment implying that Spo didnt care about his players..which is why he chose the Clippers. interesting

Turiaf is also in the rotation with the Clips. I think he'd probably sit on the end of the bench had he stayed with the Heat. Players always seem to have something to say about their previous "employers" when they leave. Plus the media loves to take quotes out of context.

I'm not worried that the ship is sinking or anything. But I don't believe that this team as it is right now can pull off a repeat. That's just my opinion of our ball at this moment though. I actually think giving LeBron a couple of games off wouldn't hurt either. It'll never happen unless LeBron breaks down I don't think.
