Its not as if the cable companies didnt have the technology to do this before it was just not worth it to the content creators. the cable companies spend a TON of money to make sure you have ESPN in your line up, IF people start picking and choose what channels they dont want it devalues the ESPN as a whole. you have going to have a hell of a time convincing the content creators that this is a good idea for them.
