Yeap like I expected, once I gave names people start hating on Bynum and voting for the hyped bad player.

Statistics aside, Eric Maynor has a better feel for how to run the offense. He was able to get guys into position and effectively run plays for his team. I think he's a really good back up pg. It's crazy that he's fallen so far out their rotation since his injury last year and Harden's emergence and now the effectiveness of Kevin Martin.
Maynor seems to be the odd man out. OKC still has Reggie Jackson and Jeremy Lamb who will warrant playing time in a few. He would be a nice addition. If not Maynor, I think Jarrett Jack is an ideal back up who can play both guard slots with his size and strength.

I voted for Maynor before you put the names up, but I also knew who the players were. Bynum's game is based on speed and he'll be 31 next season. We tried the aging, diminutive volume scorer with a game based on quickness once already with a HoFer. It didn't go so well. And Bynum isn't Iverson. Maynor is actually a PG, and young enough to stay decent for quite some time.

yeah, I figured player A was Chucky Bynum. id rather have Derek Fishers corpse as the backup than watch Bynum play basketball for another season.

Can I vote neither?
Maynor is unproven... hasn't played enough IMO.
Bynum is a nice story but it's time to move on
I'll take Jerryd Bayless for $3 million from the Grizzlies for a 2nd round pick this off-season thanks
Bayless screams "Dumars-type" to me: 25 years old, bounced around the league a lot, has played well at times when given the opportunity, can run an offense, isn't a chucker, and doesn't seem to mind not playing huge minutes...
he's also playoff experience from his days in Portland... and played more than 20 minutes per in those games if memory serves.
He's young enough and has bounced around enough that one could argue he's never had a home and has yet to really scratch the surface of his potential in the NBA...
but he's old enough and experienced enough to know it's not all about showing and proving what he can do, it's not about him getting his...
Assuming we get a legit starting SG out of the Draft, free agency or trade:
Knight 32/Stuckey 16 - Bayless plays if needed
???? 32/Stuckey 16 - English plays if needed

Player B or equivalent would never wear a Pistons uniform under Dumars regime...

I'd rather have Knight at backup PG and get a player who is a starting calibre PG.

I'd pass on both players but if you had a gun to my head then I would take Bynum. At least you know what you're going to get on this team and in this system.

One more thing, I do NOT want to trade Stuck unless I'm getting a Gordon like talent in return and I don't mean Ben Gordon either. I like Stuck and am not too anxious to just ship him out. The ONLY expendables on this team are the following players and not necessarily in this order
1) MAX
2) CV
3) Bynum
4) Singler
5) Middleton
6) Prince (but only if he is ok with it. He deserves to retire a Piston)
7) Knight (Not sold on his ability. His talent is a dime a dozen)
8) Sasha
9) JJ
10) English (Although I REALLY like him)
Keepers
1) DRUMMOND
2) Moose (Unless we can get Aldridge in return)
3) Stuck
4) Daye (His play has shown that he has the ability to be a top star in the NBA. I am not willing to trade him this year. If he winds up choking, which is an entire possibility, then I do not pick up his player option at the end of the year. There is no need to give up this years James Harden or Jeremy Linn.)
