Alan Ashby comes home!

Post#1 » by Mr. E » Mon Jan 7, 2013 4:18 am

Joining the Astros broadcast crew...well, re-joining the Astros broadcast crew will be former Astro favorite, Alan Ashby!

I don't remember the details behind Ashby's departure from the club in 2005, but he is now coming back to do color commentary/play-by-play analysis for the 2013 Houston Astros. It will be nice to have a familiar voice with all of the changes that have and will continue to happen with this club.

Sucks Jim D. left, but this somewhat makes up for it I suppose.

Are all of the games going to be televised on the CSN Houston station like the Rockets? If so, well, sigh...
We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.
