He might want to become a part of our house. That was supposed to be a witty statement. If we almost paid Hump $12 million per for the next 2 years then I wouldn't have no problem paying Rudy $16 million per for the next 2 years he's owed.

I think we went after Hump for PR purposes, I think they knew he wouldn't sign.

Anybody interested in a Reggie Williams for Omri Casspi swap with the Cavs? I am. It'll be like Carroll for Warrick all over again.

As useless as Reggie has been, Ornery Cat'spee is just an awful, awful player. It would seem like a lateral move at best.

I think he would just pout if he was on our rebuilding ark unless he's just gonzo for all the shots he can jack up.

Still, I believe he can play some 4. Casspi automatically has more value to us than Reggie, because Reggie plays at our most loaded position.

We'd be just as loaded with 3/4s if we had Casspi. HIm, Tyrus, Adrian, Biz, Mully, Warrick all see minutes at the 4. He can't shoot, he's not a good rebounder, he has no post moves. What would he really bring us besides a slightly less expensive expiring contract?

yeah it's not really much of a change. no point in adding more unskilled labor in the 4/5 area

How can we be almost two months into the season and not have a single trade in the entire NBA yet?

With DAL struggling and possibly desperate for change, would anyone offer them Hendo for Brandon Wright and Dominique Jones?

I'm suprised that the Lakers and Cavs haven't tried to make a trade (not together, it just seems like both teams could use a change).

I think the Cavs are holding onto Varejao until the last minute of the February deadline to lure a team into giving them picks and young assets at their desperate moment. I have a feeling that it might be the Thunder. If so I hope we can get in on the multi-team trade to try to acquire Jeremy Lamb.

As far as the Lakers they don't have much if anything on their roster that another team would want besides Dwight Howard.

I'd rather try to get PJ3. how many wings do we really need?
