Took Corbin long enough to figure out that the Foye-Burks-Hayward lineup is the best option on both ends of the floor without Mo. Now let's make it the starting backcourt, shall we? Gordon needs to be the main creator on the floor for the Jazz and play over 30 minutes every night, enough with the nonsense about him coming off the bench.

Start our best players? Lets not get carried away here. Also, it's weird how when Burks gets good minutes he appears to be a very good player. Probably a fluke though, I hope Corbin gives him a few more DNPs just to be safe.

I also was starting to lose faith in Hayward after I had such high hopes, he plays so much better with a higher usage rate. He is the reason I want Bledsoe so badly for the Jazz, because we don't need a traditional, distributing PG with Hayward, and potentially even Burks playing alongside. What we need from the PG spot is defense, three point shooting, and transition offense. Just my random thoughts. Hope this game helps Haywards confidence, he just needs to know he can dominate if he gets to initiate the offense (I hope coach knows this too).

I can't wait until we start our best players and I can justify watching the Jazz again.

By the way, Burks is not even playing that well, as he's prone to forcing things up when driving, has a fairly erratic jump shot and generally looks the part of the inexperienced player that he is. Yet, good things seem to always happen when he's on the court (I'm pretty sure that his +/- in the past few games has been among the best in the team), and that's because, guess what, he fits a precise need.

Starting from here, I believe he will improve his production if he'll be given the chance to see more minutes, up his confidence, get used to playing with the main guys. The decision to throw him in the doghouse at the start of the season and use him as trade bait seems more ridiculous by the day.
