His answer is always going to be No or no comment. If he says yes, he loses the player or the locker room. I wasn't talking about fair value assets you get when trading a star player. I agree with you should get close to equal value. However, I do disagree with your assertion that Cousins doesn't want to play here.
You seem to not understand the nuisance of player management. A GM usually do not openly deny that a player is on the block if he intends to trade him. He keeps quiet. He say things like he still believe in so and so. A GM usually do not say one thing to the media and then a few weeks later do the complete opposite because it reflects badly on that GM and other players will start to question whether he means what he say. You said so yourself but then the next sentence you contradicted yourself.
You tend to backpedal and deny what you wrote just a couple post prior when it's right there in black and white. Of course you were talking about fair value for Cousins, you were using Dwight Howard as an example that a good player doesn't always get fair value in return. So of course you said it and I don't understand why you are now denying you wrote it. This kind of action is exactly what GMs tend not to do. They usually do not backpedal like you do and when they come out and explicitly say that a player is not on the block you can pretty much take it to the bank. Like I said, if a player is being shopped, the FO keeps quiet, they usually do not so openly deny it. This is what you dont' seem to get, You seem to think GMs act like you do.

For all we Rondo hates Boston and want to come play for Sacramento and Kate Upton has a crush on me. Dude, let's skip this childish day dreaming shall we? What reason does Cousin has to want to go to Boston? No offense, but your team is old, your PG is emotionally challenged, your team is on the decline, and what little pieces your team will have left does not compliment Cousins. If you are Demarcus Cousins, would you fight tooth and nail to play for Boston?
