Re: Fixing the roster
I think above all else, we need shooters to spread the floor. I like Wilson Chandler and Bledsoe as players but there's too much non-3pt-shooting in the starting lineup.
Varejao had missed a lot of time due to injury. I'm concerned that he may be too injury prone, and even though he's a good player, Evans + TRob is giving up too much imo. That pick that the Kings traded away is a mid-round pick due to the protection, while it's good that the Kings get their pick back, I don't like that we're trading two high lottery picks for Varejao and a mid 1st rounder.

Re: Fixing the roster
As a nuggets and kings fan i like the deal of Wilson Chandler for Marcus Thornton. Nuggets get a shot creating guard who can hit the 3 and replace brewer while kings get solid starter who could fill a scoring role.

Don't like the Thornton for Chandler idea. Chandler has played 12 NBA games in the last two years--missed practically all of last year because he was in China and missed practically all of this year because of hip surgery. In those 12 games he was absolute garbage. Do we really want to gamble on him based on his decent play in New York three years ago? For Thornton? No thanks.
I'd rather throw something at Memphis to the tune of Tyreke, Thronton, and Hayes for Rudy Gay.

Gay would be nice, I'd also try and explore Tyreke or Thornton trades to Indy for Granger.

Wow, I don't like any of the trades yet somehow I really like that starting lineup. It's a very good defensive lineup. But let's remember this is Sacramento, we don't do defense here.

What would you think about Thornton, Cisco, Hayes and Thomas for Granger, T Hansborough, Augustin and Green?
Indy gets Thornton to play the two and quality punch off the bench in Cisco and IT. Hayes gives them a decent big off the bench. We pick up the best player in Granger and three guys who have been off and on. I think we could use Tyler's intensity and passion off the bench. Green has same amount of years as Hayes but slightly less dollars. DJ expires.
PG - Brooks / Jimmer / Augustin
SG - Evans / Salmons
SF - Granger / Green / Honeycutt
PF - Thompson / Hansb / TRob / Johnson / Outlaw
C - Cousins /
We have some interchangeable parts in Salmons, Evans, Thompson, Johnson playing different positions but you guys get it.
OT - How much better would we have been had we taken Drummond or Lillard rather than Robinson?

I'd do that but I don't think it needs to be that complicated. Thornton and JJ for Granger works. And can we please do something with Outlaw, cut him, trade him, whatever. He has one good game out of every ten he plays, he's terrible. I'd rather give any minutes Outlaw gets to Honeycutt.

This is the only thing that is keeping the King's from becoming a serious contender again.
Too bad it'll never happen.

I don't know if you have watched many Grizzle games this year but Rudy Gay is having yet another down season. With that being said, I would give them anything they want besides Tyreke and/or Cousins,

Hold on now! We need him in our back pocket for every time we play Portland!
