I feel terrible for all of the arena employees who essentially just found out that they are losing their jobs.

Sorry guys. I always hate to see the smaller market teams have to move. The crappy owners get their money and the fans get screwed.

I'm kinda in a numb state of shock. I saw it coming for so long but this is surreal.

Well, since Clay Bennett owns the Supersonics legacy, and Seattle is located in King county, you might not lose the name.

Carmichael Dave @CarmichaelDave
Doesn't mean it isn't happening, just that execs and employees aren't aware of a sale.

53s Carmichael Dave @CarmichaelDave
Sources tell me that as of right now, no one inside the Kings organization (not including owners) are aware of an impending sale.
What a bunch of scumbags, take the money and run, eh Maloofs? **** em.

Re: Oh God no. Sold to Seattle owners?
This is just unspeakable. I am so sorry.
I fell in love with NBA basketball watching the Kings-Lakers series. That was basketball the way the gods intended.
And I have never seen a city fight so passionately to keep it's team. The Maloofs are true disasters as people because this is a city that loves it's basketball and are repayed with nonsense.
Sacramento basketball will always be close to my heart. You guys deserve better.

Re: Oh God no. Sold to Seattle owners?
To repeat what I said on the GB...
The good guys lose, but I'm so proud of the City of Sacramento. We put up one helluva fight (one that was much larger than the one that Seattle ever put together by the way). The league will undoubtedly be making more money from this, but they lose the best fans in the NBA. Period.
I won't tell everybody to stop rejoicing about Seattle getting a team back, but I hope they recognize all of tears and blood that SACRAMENTO has shed over this. What happened to us was not right, and probably will never be made right.

Us Warriors fans will miss the rivalry. Kings/Warriors games were usually a lot of fun no matter what the overall fortunes were that year for each team.

Weak sauce dudes. Best of luck, and don't become Lakers fans
Also: Just trade us Thornton & Cousins for Boozer & Rip while you still can.

I did. This was my team too but I couldn't hang around where I was clearly not wanted.
