What's your next step as a fan?

Post#1 » by bibby1023 » Wed Jan 9, 2013 7:52 pm

This might be a bit early, as many I know many are still upset about the news, but it had me thinking about who Kings fans will root for..I myself will still follow and root for this team no matter where they go. I will never just start rooting for a team like the Warriors, who i've disliked for so long. So my question to you Kings fans is, will you remain loyal still root for this team to succeed? Will you follow and become a fan of another team? Or will you just stop following the NBA in general?

I've been thinking about this for years now, and I still have no idea.

I'm all for a Kings apparel burning ceremony in the parking lot. Anyone want my tickets to Thursday's game?

Football season goes into Baseball season if you follow spring training and I will fill in the gaps with EPL soccer. The NBA is dead! Heck I may as well make it official and be a retired mod! I'm done.

Well in Sacramento you guys still got the River Cats when it comes to pro sports and Sacramento State for college sports.

I as well have been thinking about this for a while. I use to say I'll follow key players, then I said I'll just go to a different team that I have always enjoyed. But as of last night the truth came out and I will continue to follow this team wherever they go.

Coming from a city with TWO pro basketball teams, a baseball team, and a hockey team which just won the title. I don't believe you have the right to speak to us right now.

I'll probably still follow whatever this team becomes, but I'll never say "go Seattle".
I already follow Miami, as Lebron is my favorite player outside of the Kings. I might become a bandwagon Clipper fan just to spite the Lakers. I like CP3 as well.

Screw That! If the NBA doesn't think we're a market that can hold a team then why be interested in the league? If the owners are willing to let this happen why would I support it?

Terrible news for you guys, I know we were on the brink of being moved to New Orleans in the 90s until our current owner stepped in and bought us. Put in your situation I'd probably just become a bandwagon Clippers fan to spite the Lakers and their arrogant fans.

CP3 is better than anythings Warriors have, and Warriors already have a sizeable fanbase.

I predict that most King's fans will just end up rooting for the Clippers.

The owners will allow any mood unless there's an explicit reason to not allow it. This isn't on the NBA. It's on the Maloofs.

I hope not. As a Warriors fan, I'd be happy if you guys sided with us. After all, it's more convenient, you'd be representing NorCal and "Golden State" isn't limited to just the Bay. It'd take you guys 8 hours just to drive and watch a live game in LA

Sacramento needs to ask the NBA to keep the Kings name and history in Sacramento. I think cheap ass Grizzlies owner will probably lose his franchise soon and they could be the new Kings.

Done with the NBA. I have no interest in it at all except to root for the Sacto Kings. At least I'll have more free time during basketball season, hell maybe I'll date more with all this extra free time. Funny how Kings leaving = me getting laid more lol. I'd rather have the Kings tho.

Return to Sacramento Kings
