We need Philly to get Andrew Bynum back Stat

They're dropping farther and farther out of the 8th seed. We need that draft pick! It would be 15th overall!

he wants philly to get the 8th seed so the draft pick we get from them will be valuable. If they fall into lottery they keep the pick.
1. Herro 2. Bol Bol 3. Seko 4. Bruno
unless we trade up for Barrett or trade down for PJ Washington

That pick looks out of reach right now, we're screwed.

Front office better be working on a plan, scouting all over the world.

What's the deal with the philly pick? Does it get rolled over into the next draft? Apparently the 2014 draft looks pretty stacked.
LeBron's NBA Cup MVP is more valuable than either of KD's Finals MVPs. This is the word of the Lord

Lotto protected this year & next. Then it turns into 2 2nds for 2015* if we haven't got it by then.

*I think, can someone correct if its not 2015.

just dont see sixers making playoffs this year.and other teams will be better next year, they will drop further.

even toronto is closing on them, and they are good side if they start calderon instead of lowry .

I would have done the trade too.It was worth the risk
at 27 we werent going to get anything worthy.
but with the chances we took on sixers pick we could have got higher pick.

Krikor is right, there weren't really any big left worth giving a guaranteed contract to. PJ3 was the only really interesting piece left, and he really wouldn't have fit that well here

If only freaking Bynum were healthy, that team would have stayed out of the lottery.

I'd rather take our chances with Philly making the playoffs for the 2014 draft to be honest. This next one will suck anyway.

Too early to tell. Lots can happen in the second half of the season. I wouldn't expect Bynum to be the catalyst though. PEACE.

Yeah 2014 is supposed to be a lot better.

But if we don't get it then it rolls over to second eventually. That sucks, usually it rolls over into lesser protection as years go by.

We need a young stud yesterday, not in 2014.
2014 might be better in terms of franchise players, top 5 picks. that has nothing to do with us and our #15 pick, at best.

Players like Tony Mitchell, Jeff Withey, Jackie Carmichael could definitely help us. even today.

Im a big Sixers fan this year.

Still annoyed Riley agreed to this. So we wait two years, and if Philly gets into the lotto... we then get two lower picks in the second round?

I dont ever recall a trade of picks like this... makes ZERO sense for us...

It actually made a lot of sense - We just couldn't find a guy worth picking last year. We had the #27 pick and there were no decent bigs left on the board. guys like Ezeli and Moultrie would never see the court with us, and they have a low ceiling. so we took a gamble, and if Philly becomes the 8 seed we'll win that gamble and get a much better player in this year's draft. if they don't...then maybe they will in 2014. if they won't, maybe in 2015. if they still won't ..we "lost" the gamble, but didnt really lose a quality player.

if anything, i think it makes stupid from the sixers side. i dont know how they agreed on this one.

They probably had expectations with bynum they will be top seed in east for some years. And that they traded 27th pick for future 25 - 30 positions picks.

Yup, the Bynum injury really made it intersting for us.

BTW dont forget we also got Justin Hamilton in that picks trade, he told me he's coming back to Miami next year and he's getting in top shape trying to become a world calss athlete, also working on his overall game.

i think he might turn out decent - Hard working, high IQ, Size, Great shooting...and puting nice numbers in Europe. a Nick Collison type player.
