FYI: Solid source says Clips discussed trading Jordan 4 Varajeo B4 it was known he needs knee surgery. Cavs demanded Bledsoe as well.

How laughable is this? Why why why?

Would be a horrible move we give up to core players for a aging injury prone C? We just got rid of Kaman why in the hell would want to go back to that not to mention the improvement of both players. We got to the top of the league with EB and DJ playing key roles and the chemistry on the team would be shot.

Varejao is a player that any team could use. The problem is his health woes. 31 games played during the 2010-11 season, 25 during the 2011-12 season and 25 this season while likely being out for 8 more weeks. Couple those injury concerns with his age (30+) and you definitely don't want to mortgage the future for him. He's on one of my fantasy teams and I wish I would have traded him a long time ago. Likewise, the Cavs wish they would have traded him around the same time.

As far as trade talks go....teams do this all the time. You may not be actively seeking a trade, but you talk just to see what the market is for certain players. Typically, by the time you hear about a trade rumor, it has long been dead. Any hopes of this one died the instant the Cavs mentioned Bledsoe.

my guess is this is a lot like Ethier trade rumors surrounding the dodgers. it's probably not us who's making the phonecalls, but we are picking it up and listening when others are calling.

hope there is nothing more than just a talk. DJ may not always contribute on the court but he is a great glue guy that keeps everyone loose, especially blake. we don't need to break up the best team in NBA that shares so much together as is.

Andy possibly being a product of playing on a garbage team...he never did anything until lebron left...certainly not in the playoffs

sure Krause traded Oakley and they got 6 out of the deal....but look how that ended. Jordan hated him and he didn't bring Phil back even though everybody wanted another crack at #7.

im 24 right now.
when I'm 34....hopefully cp3 will have just retired as a Clipper...hopefully Quake, Dre and Bledsoe are still here and thought of like the current Spurs are thought of.

I just hope this trade wasn't truly considered. Varaejo has some skill but I would miss DJ's size and shot blocking. I have no idea how Bledsoe would be included in this. We have great chemistry, no need for any trades right now.

i value those the most when it comes to building a team and the most in this team.

i don't want dre, bled, blake, chris, lamar or matt to put on another jersey before they retire.
