I think we could trade Max for Chauncy, the clippers could use and extra big man, it gives them a little more money next summer, and they got way too many guards. *Max has had success guarding Howard.
Next we trade Bynum, Middleton, and Jarebko, to Denver for Chandler, and Randolph.
We win this trade too, I realize chandler is by far the and Randolph are the most talented players in the trade, but JJarebko, Bynum, and Middleton are Coach Karls kina guys. They will have more cap space this summer and the next and both players are really buried on denvers bench
we become
Knight/Stuckey
Billups
Prince/Chandler
Monroe/Villanueva
Drummond
Daye,Singler,Randdolph, English, Kravstov, Wallace
We're not bad at all, Chauncy can retire here like he should, a good mix of young, old, and players in there prime. Strong three guard roataion, and 3 big man rotation, Prine and Chandler at the 3. We havent been that strong at the three since 2004. I see both trades a possible.

Haha, I was on 2k13 last night trying to trade Daye to the Clippers for Billups...I would offer either Max, Daye, or Bynum for Billups...Chandler would be a nice pick-up too...I've been saying for a while that one of our expiring contracts would be enough to get Chandler...Good idea bro...

Re: two trades
How does this make the team better though? Chauncey can't do much effectively anymore, and Chandler is a decent offensive option but not a good or great one. This maybe wins us a few more games--maybe four at the max--but what's the point of that?

Re: two trades
Well we would get a solid vet pg with playoff experience to mentor are other guards. Chandler is better than any other 3 we have I think, he's comparable to prince, he needs a change of scenery. Plus as far as bringing fans back to the palace this can't hurt to bring Chauncy back, and a Detroit native. Plus Max is gone which opens more minutes for Drummond this season, which opens a roster spot for Ben, who can also help mentor people. Plus four or five games could be the difference in the playoffs, and we got a decent deep roster, that I think has a chance for slightly more success in the playoffs than the regular season, the more playoff experience they get now the better. Isiah never would have been the playoff tested player he was if he didn't fail so many times before, we really got good. It's kinda a sideways move, which could lead to faster results, and happier fans.

Re: two trades
Chauncey is like an assistant coach on the Clippers. They like his contributions that go well beyond what he does on the court. At this point in his career, this is a perfect spot for him. No reason for him to come back to Detroit.

Denver wouldn't do Bynum, Middleton, and JJ, for Chandler, and Randolph.
