Greg Oden has received interest from multiple teams on a multiyear deal to be signed before the end of the season that would allow him to continue his rehab efforts.
Two sources said the Miami Heat are at the top of Oden's wish list and that the franchise continues to check in on his recovery.
The Heat currently have two roster spots available.
Oden's camp wants to remain patient with this comeback and have him continue to sit out the remainder of the regular season and Summer League.
Ric Bucher of Comcast originally reported Oden's interest in returning to the NBA this season.

I truly hope you are referring to basketball and not that picture of him showing off his genitals.

Are there even active mods around here? We see new threads for every little thing around here these days and can't even spell the guy's name right.

Re: Heat/Odin Mutual Interest
I still recall my friend telling me about Oden coming into the draft.
He said the Oden was hurting and was telling his close friends that his knees were hurting and he felt something was wrong. He knew that if he showed it during workout they would find something. During the process most scouts or GM didn't even bother looking at him, all they wanted to see him do was play.

I'd believe it. That said there have been some reports that the Blazers medical staff checked out Oden's knees, saw problems, and Kevin Pritchard proceeded to draft Oden anyways (or so the story goes). I suppose the technicals aren't of much significance at the end of the day, the fact of the matter is one way or another there were problems and for whatever reason they fell under the radar when it came to the 2007 draft (and my team proceeded to take an injury riddled center while Seattle/ OKC Drafted a future superstar in Durant). Tis the nature of the NBA, either you get a bit lucky and the 'Center of the decade' that you draft turns out healthy or you get really unlucky and you wind up with nothing out of a number 1 pick. I just wish our GM (I'm a Blazer fan) had been smarter than I was on draft day of 07.

are we sure that Oden and his agent aren't just name dropping Miami around to raise his chances of getting picked up.
