how upset are you?

Post#1 » by therobg125 » Fri Jan 11, 2013 7:24 pm

as a lakers fan....im really pissed...my grandma is even starting to not watch the games in disgust...she's watched everyn game since like 2000 when she discovered kobe...lol .....i donno, from the mike brown hiring to the dantoni to the lack of effort and energy and no defense....it's just mind boggling how dantoni cant see that def. is necessary and that we need more than 30 mins worth of talk per week about def. it's mind boggling how they say that they want to win a ship, yet they just seem as though they dont care....the only 2 people who seem to care are nash and kobe.....and trust me once we get 1 maybe 2 in a row...theyre gonna play with that same non chalant attitude that's plagued us since 10/11 season...

I've been upset since the hiring of Mike Brown, was relieved when we got nash and howard then more upset that we ain't winning despite the talent and the hiring of pringles? I must say Upset is an understatement!! Holding on Gasol, makes understatement of upset an understatement!!! Damn it, I paid $190 for league pass and got the fastest internet and mobile just to watch all the games and now I ain't watchin!!! not to mention I bought a projector and 110" projector screen coz I felt we would be winning most of our games.. All money wasted atleast and hopefully just now.. still hoping we can make the playoffs and take it from there..

now I ain't watching especially d12, hill, (never mind pau and blake) are injured.. we ain't winning if they're healthy much more if they're not there.. If I watched and we played poorly, my day night and week are all ruined, i'll be having fight with my boss, and my co worker for some unknown reason.. and of course fight with my wife coz I ain't doing **** at home if I watch games and lakers played poorly!! JUST TOO HIGH OF EXPECTATIONS coming this season!!

You mad bro? :D

Serioulsy though I'm not a lakers fan because they win every game. I am a lakers fan because I grew up from day one watching and rooting for the lakers. Growing up in Los Angeles did have its benefits becuase we did win a lot however I am not going to jump on any bandwagons (clippers.. cough cough) just becuase the lakers are going through a rough patch.

I really liked watching the Spurs game and I hope we can continue to see the same effort no matter who is on the court!

I believe I properly vented my frustration in the Jim Buss interview thread, but yeah I am getting awfully pissed.

I've enjoyed watching the games this year. I have not gotten overly upset. It still feels like a process to me. I actually have a very strong feeling they will turn it around and still be a great team.

I think all the doom and gloom stuff is way too early and frankly should be for the non-Laker fans watching from afar. The Laker fan base should have a quiet confidence but instead many are acting like spoiled kids. Not all though...some people keep a cool head. I'm a bit disappointed though in some of the veterans around here not thinking the Lakers will turn it around.

To me its a series of MANY little things going wrong that are making it seem like the team is terrible. When in fact its just a bunch of little things that can be fixed. :D Still plenty of time. They just have to play great at some point and go on some winning streaks.

Cannot stop watching now. I think I have seen the worst part of the season. It can only get better from here.

I would say I am bothered and extremely confused by this whole season. At this point I have come to the conclusion we are just gonna have to watch the games while we scratch are heads in wonder. I am accepting of this teams fate at this point and will try not get too upset over it.

I'm pretty mad we had the chance to get Phil back and they did him dirty. Mike D? He was only hired because of Steve Nash. When you have a team with this much talent you need a coach that can manage these huge personalities. Mike D can preach all he want about D, but you're not going to get any effort when you ask this old ass team to push it on offense all the time. Dudes playing checkers with chess pieces.

This team could be so dominant if they slowed the pace of play down and banged down low. Everybody sees it, yet Mike D still pushes his philosophy.

Also, Steve Nash is horrible on defense. He is so old, undersized, and fragile that he often just gets out of the way of the offensive player. We won't make the playoffs if we do not make a trade for D'Antoni type players or get a different coach altogether, which is way too late. Gotta make a trade asap, need depth.

And at the same time, injuries have definitely plagued the team this season. We may not even have D'Antoni as a coach if Nash didn't have to sit to start the season. That negative energy has been accumulating from the very beginning and it's hard to correct that when players aren't suited.

I'm beyond upset, I've smashed my phone already, I've punched walls and almost tossed my tv out the window. I've had enough of losing but what can I do other than be the best fan I can be by standing by my team. Clark was a nice bright spot for me in our gave against the Spurs....

Most Laker fans are not disappointed because this is what they expected when they hired DAntoni.,

I was disappointed that Brown did not work out. I had a feeling but felt Nash could save them. I never really believed the hype about Jackson coming back. So, I was just a bit confused hearing the noise about Jackson NOT returning. The Dantoni hire was stunning. I wanted to give him a chance cos I thought Nash would save them. Nash is back. No one has been saved. I am more embarrassed as a fan than anything.

It makes me sad to even think that Kobe wont get a chance to get another ring.

Embarrassed.
