we dont guard our opponents best shooters...
why is this a constant issue? it's been going on since the 09-10 season.... the lakers (kobe especially)...always seem to dare the oppositions best shooters to shoot...they refuse to play any def. on them and leave them wide open...and if someone like pau is right in front of a shooter then pau wont even bother to lift a finger...he just kinda stands around hoping for a miss....they all do this though, except for artest (the only one that actually tries on def.)...kobe doesn't try and dh just shoves ppl down....

I can still remember when we have the best 3FG defense in the league.

You are preaching to the choir. This team needs to stick to the hot hand. Lots of guards especially are helping when they should stick to their man. This is a coaching issue plain and simple. This has been an issue since phil jackson so I do not see why it would change now.

Ugh, I hate it when Howard just fouls someone that is coming right at him for a shot. You're an athletic shot blocker...why are you just fouling?

A lot of times it's because a certain two-guard doesn't go through screens, watches them hit a 3, then calls for the ball, because he appears to believe he can immediately match this "role player."

Each of those years just correlate to the aging of our guard play. So no surprise they have become slower to challenge shots and now give up higher percentages. Imagine what next year will be like! Lol

i'd settle for 34%...its not great but the points we lose there, we'll make up for with our talent.. IF ONLY

34% Would be fine if they could stop the dribble penetration as well. But at this point there is not any signs of that happening. Lets face it perimeter defense on this team is pretty weak all around.

This. For all the good things this certain two-guard does on offense, he offsets it by giving up open 3s to the other team
