terrible free throw shooting and poor 3 pt%. yikes. this is a loss I can take. it wasn't bad. just an off night. rocket's will bounce back.

I'm confused why several times, douglas, morris or chandler didn't go for a pull up jumper.

shoot the ball, i was sayin' several times. they need to stop driving to the rim when there's a shotblocker like KG and settle for jump shots.


I just checked and the rockets are at 2nd place defensively for:

opp. shot location 16-23 feet

41% FG.

I remember chris bosh, tim duncan, KG, aldridge make a ton of of those jump shots and they went in.

Someone is suppose to guard em'.

Anderson looks like a JAG too. So much for swing-man depth to reduce minutes. sigh

Boston has greatly improved their D, we defensed ourselves on the FT line though..

Anderson has been long on every shot he's taken as a Rocket. I actually remember seeing a Spurs game, and seeing the same thing. Not enough a sample size, but...yeah.

Could be bad...our schedule literally sucks this month.

I figured we'd lose this game, that's why I was so frustrated BLOWING that Hornets game. I still can't shake that game out of my mind - having a 10 point lead entering the 4th. Ugh.

But I also didn't think we'd lose this game, because of missing 17 FT's. There were some awful calls (or non-calls), also...but I don't like to use that as an excuse. Missed FT's, piss poor execution in the halfcourt, and we still had a shot mid way in the 4th...we blew the game with our mistakes, but not "blew" in the same way in the last game, where we had control, and simply lost it...because we never had control of this game at any point.

this is why we need to play dmo and tjones more....give some of our other guys a blow...also, asik didn't play in 4th, so he should be able to control the boards tomorrow over hawes and young...all these b2b games we need to manage minutes of starters...
