I've missed the last few games due to stupid work.

What's the go with Hendo? He's minutes are pretty low at the moment, how is he playing?

Has he peaked as a average bench player?

I think we're so happy Henderson finally got range on his jump shot that we want to keep him, and we do that by driving his value down by benching him, then we'll get him on a cheap 5 year, 25M deal. Or am I just overestimating Dunlap?

I was just about to post this. I too believe that we are intentionally diminishing Hendo's offseason value.

You're either a genius or Dunlap is a moron.

I bet on both.

If they're intentionally trying to cost him money, that's pretty messed up. I have to believe he and his agent would realize it too and would look to get him a contract with another team. It's still a lot of money but would you want to remain some place that's trying to sabotage you? I know I wouldn't. On top of that, he might prefer a team that's playoff ready.

Or else he's playing this new role so that we can pump Sessions/Gordon's value as high as possible, trading them for even more 1st rounders or moving up in the draft. Perhaps the Cho is the true puppet master behind everything (which we've already seen that he is)

I don't think you can say that he's peaked when he's looking the best he ever has. Its a shame that he's playing on a team that doesn't seemingly have a job for him on the court though. I really think he's the 2nd best player on the team but because of the team's composition and offense, he's never going to be able to shine like he could. We should just trade the guy already...

I'm not too much of a believer in conspiracy theories but it's obvious that exploiting Hendo's talents with extra minutes for development or even trade value are no longer in the plans. That lead me to think that they are making an executive decision to keep his price range within an amount that would make it easier for us to retain him. If we keep this up, no team will even dare to offer him more than $5 million per year.

Last night was the first game in a long time that Hendo seemed like he was a part of the offense. I've been calling for him to be traded. But there was a ten minute stretch in Q3 where Kemba-Hendo-MKG-Biz-Mully were on the floor and everything seemed balanced, the offense, the defense. It was like a real team. Some people chided Hendo's "Hero" mode toward the end of the game, but I'd take it, if it means he's more aggressive the whole game.He played like a real shooting guard last night, and it helped us.

I have said all along that if Hendo will accept a modest increase every year we should keep him. However the fact that we have not extended him makes me think that he wants to get paid, and he is just not valuable enough for max numbers.

My hero mode criticism wasn't directed solely at Hendo but our offence in general.

Come crunch time its all we seem to do, one of the 3 guards tries to win it himself.

I'd rather let Kemba or Hendo do it all by himself than anyone else. Sessions maybe.

I'd rather see plays set up where the ball is moved around and someone gets a good shot.

Which ended up happening yesterday thanks to Bradley falling over.
