of course stats will say otherwise because majority of his total points have been either layups or dunks. we all know he can't shoot and probably will never be able to shoot.

but if he is going to continue to be a layup or dunker only he is going to have get better at finishing. most of his attempts come from within the paint. his fg% is terrible and that is no coincidence. he is good at getting there and he has made some crazy shots at the rim but overall he is way too inconsistent if this is the type of player he is going to continue to be for the rest of his career.

He's just coming back from a long-term injury. I seem to remember him being a pretty decent finisher around the rim.

So he needs to shoot higher than 60% from inside (last year) before he's a good finisher in your eyes???

His FG% is bad b/c his jumper is bad, nothing to do with his inside finishing...

Wall shot 62% at the rim last year in 5.8 attempts. That is better than Rose has done in any of the last 4 years.

It is outside of 3 feet that Wall struggles.

Your wrong. His inside FG% has been on par with guys like Westbrook and Chris paul. His FG% is low because he still attempts a large number of outside shots (61% of his shots were jump shots) yet hits them at a ridiculously low rate.

What Wall really needs is an in-between game, like a floater.
