Dwight Howard Injury

Post#1 » by Kobe System » Sun Jan 13, 2013 6:38 am

Any updates on D12? Should we be concerned?

Jameer Nelson suffered a torn labrum during his All-Star season in 2009 and was out 5 months. Even then, took time for him to be 100%.

Everything I've heard about this specific injury indicates to me that he is most likely going to be out for a long time, possibly even rest of the season but he will be re-evaluated Sunday

Sigh, what a nightmare season

They said they caught his before it became significant enough to require surgery (unlike Jordan Hill, who had a severe tear of his hip labrum). He is lucky that his should just heal with a couple weeks of rest. It could have been a lot worse if he tried to tough it out.

Jameer also dislocated his arm in the process...

Yeah according to Dwight he didn't fully tear it,he said it was seperated from the bone whatever that means. He should probably be out all next week and come back that next week.

Basically he rest it for 2weeks,and see if his shoulder feels any better.

Yep. No need to rush him back. But it's obvious that we need him sooner than later.
