I don't get it, though. I wasn't overly impressed with him in the summer league and he isn't impressing in the DLeague. After 14 game, averaging about 29 mins per game, he is 32nd of guards in pts/rebs/asts, 33rd in FG%, and 48th in 3p%. I thought that he was being brought in as a sharpshooter, but against better competition he is struggling.

Thats the thing he wasn't brought in for just that. The Jazz told him they want him to be a complete player so during the summer league and d-league thats what he was focusing on and not scoring. The numbers are very deceiving because he was working on things he wasn't used to doing. Both Corbin and lindsay stated they were very pleased at how he performed and how he was growing his game.

If anything we should be getting on KOC for bringing back jeremy evans. Waste of a roster spot.

I actually agree with the point about Jeremy Evans, he is a well liked player by the fans, good guy, highlight plays and energy guy, but I didn't like the move honestly. I would have preferred a better 5th big like Anthony Randolph or a guy that can have some kind of skill defending or scoring. Maybe I'm just down on Jeremy, but when he got selected minutes in a game when Favors & Al were out (I think it was against Phoenix in in December or November at home), he did 10 minutes of nothing.

I like Machado, but it doesn't make sense to go get him right now.

At any point the Jazz can just waive Raja Bell if they really need a roster spot. I don't think they'll do that for Machado though. They'll probably hold onto Raja's contract through the trade deadline, just in case they can make use of it.
