are we sure that Oden and his agent aren't just name dropping Miami around to raise his chances of getting picked up.

His agent is saying the opposite, that Miami never asked about him this year.

We kept Curry/Pittman and other "project" bigmen for long periods of time. Some of us wanted to sign him even last year to rehab him.

Because Greg Oden's last name is so obvious that one ought to be ridiculed for misspelling it and STILL not correcting it after all this time. It's like someone misspelling "Jordan" or something. How does that even happen?
