This SOUNDS bad but I think Vanessa leaves Kobe AFTER he retires and makes most of his money. The relationship just seems like permanent drama. It's tough to get over that 2003 thing. It's their life.

I just think Vanessa will help Kobe break Jordan's Notorious record. By that I mean the most expensive divorce in American history at the time $120,000,000 plus she keeps the real estate AND gets spousal support. Didn't Vanessa's father say that his daughter is like that. She learned it from her mother. Vanessa caused drama between Malone and Kobe. But it helps Kobe focus on basketball 99% of the time and its their life.

It was thought that Jack Kent Cooke was the most expensive divorce of the day (around 40 mill) and it may have lead him to sell the Lakers sooner than he wanted. They say the judge in the case was The Judge Wapner, btw. Dr. Buss might've learned something from that mess.

Actually saw Vanessa and the kids in London during the Olympics. No Mamba in site though. Vanessa has got a big ol' booty.

I'm glad for the kids. It's never good to get a divorce when you have kids.
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing, Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before;

Money, kids, and the perks.

This and she probably fished around and came to grips with how much of a loser the rest of us joes are in comparison.

I think Harrison fords, and Steven spielbergs were bigger...

As to jack kent Cooke , he loved the lakers, loved , the redskins( I think) even more... The nfl in the 70's made a rule saying you cannot own another team in any other league ...
