Can I be MVP of the boards please?

Everyone remember this game? Well, you can watch this game, and any other, for any team, since 2010-2011 I think, if you can navigate the Russian language, or can deduce how to get there. Safest bet would be to click on the team logo near the top of the screen and scroll down to their schedule...then click on the final score of the game you want to see, and scroll down to the video.

You're welcome.

EDIT: Actually, this was posted on the GB a few days ago, and I just got a chance to see it last night. I'm just trying to steal credit, lol.

I know if you have Google Chrome, it'll detect the foreign language and translate the text.

It makes it a much easier to navigate that site.

Did anybody ever use NetsAreScorching.com?

It was just up about a week ago and... now I'm not sure what's going on there. Whoever ran that site I liked how they gave each big minutes player a small report card at the end of the game, sometimes pretty funny stuff.

BTW, how are more people not pissed off about the fact that we should have Tyson Chandler on this team right now?

The only reason we didn't go after him was because we wanted Dwight, which obviously didn't happen...but Chandler on this team with Lopez, JJ, Wallace, and Deron would be so awesome.

I'm actually not pissed about it, but I can't help but feel that I should be, especially since he ended up with the Knicks.

C'mon...even though we didn't get Dwight, the fact that there was a strong chance that we would have landed a top-3 player is more than enough reason for me to be ok with not signing Chandler.

Has anyone ordered a custom Brooklyn Nets jersey with "Petrovic 3" on the back, or "Irving 32"?

Just wondering b/c I would like to see how they came out if you had pics.

I want to order a custom "Van Horn 44" one :D

Not a Nets fan, but Bosh over Lopez is a joke.

Hopefully someone like KG will sit the game out and Stern appoints Lopez.

Yeah. I mean I don't really care too much, but I can't say I'm not a little disappointed.

If we can steal a game from the Heat on Wednesday, that would be HUGE. We'd have gone 12-3 in January.

I'm also expecting a 9-3 February. We have 5 games that should be Ws no question, and 7 games against legit teams, which I'd expect a 4-3 record against.

That would be great, especially during a really rough stretch of games, and it would put us in great position for the Atlantic and among the conference in general.

February schedule:

Chicago
LAL
@Detroit
@Washington
SA
@Indiana
Denver
Milwaukee
@Milwaukee
Houston
Memphis
@NO

Yeah, so Chicago, LAL, SA, Indiana, Denver, Houston, and Memphis are TOUGH games, wow. But we're at home for most of those games, and in terms of talent, I think we match up with any of them except for LAL and SA. If we're as good as I think we are, I don't think 4-3 is that unrealistic.

Detroit, Washington, Milwaukee 2x, and NO are must-wins. I'm tired of losing to Milwaukee.

We're a better home team than road team and we've beaten most above .500 teams at home (NY, LAC, IND, ATL) so I feel more comfortable at winning a good amount at home.

On a lighter note:

:lol:

Kris is only a little awkward in this one. Every time Kris does an interview or is on TV it seems like he doesn't know how to just be himself.

He has that "I know the camera is looking at me and there's nothing I can do about it" kind of look.

Love the trend of quitting when things dont go their way and losing all fundamentals

Reminds me of the 2010 Heat. That's something a real legit quality coach could fix. There isn't a trust there in the heat of a battle.

Everyone gets dejected soon as a team punches back. Funny thing is, I never saw that attitude from Joe, Gerald or any of the guys when they were on playoff teams competing against Miami and other teams.

I don't know if it's a pressure thing or what.

Clutch stats (per 36) for Lopez:

23.4 points on 7.4/16 (46%) from the floor with 8.6 FTM/9.1 FTA (94%), 9.1 rebounds, 5.1 (!) blocks, 2.9 turnovers with a +/- of 18.3

I'd venture to say he's been one of the best.

Since PJ took over:

SOS (strength of schedule, based on average opponent SRS): -0.25

MOV: +2.84

SRS (SOS+MOV): 2.59

Compare that to the Knicks since their 18-5 start (not including tonight's blowout win over Detroit):

SOS: -0.93

MOV: +3.41

SRS: 2.48
