Duncan

Has been the best Center/PF (whatever you want to label him) this season.

James Harden and it's not close. Well it's kind of close, Duncan has a very legit argument.

But yeah I'll vote Harden. Giggity.

Tim Duncan only because his team has a better record.

He also has 2 HOF teammates, one still fully in his prime having basically his best season as a pro ever, he also has a better supporting cast and he also has a HOF coach, basically the best coach in the league by far.

That's not to knock Duncan though, it's pretty amazing what he's doing this year at his age.

That argument is invalid. Harden has Lin.

This is true but I just think if he's playing so much better than Duncan he could carry his team just a little more.

Sorry I missed the last few votes...

Harden. The guy can score pretty much at will this year. The team isn't all that fantastic, but he's having a monster year considering he was a 6th man last year.

How isn't Tim Duncan in that top 5? I don't even think its an argument that he has been the best big in the league so far this season, playing great on both ends of the floor.

Harden.

Really close between him and TD though.

I feel dirty voting against Duncan, because he's my favorite player of all time, but how much of him playing well is him, or Popovich's system? In his prime, it was very clearly Duncan carrying the Spurs, no question, but now, I can't help but feel that the Spurs machine will keep chugging along with or without Duncan. He's an important part of their team, but he's just "one of the guys" at this point, rather than the MVP of the team. I think there's a legit debate about who the most important member of the Big 3 is.

I think what Harden is doing in Houston is insane, and he's leading them to a playoff spot right now, with a pretty shoddy supporting cast.

I've been trying to say this for a bit of time now, but TD holds some demi-god status on many places on RGM.

The times that I've watched SA over the past two years, if there's any guy who's leading the gang consistently, it's TP in my eyes.

I'm not saying he's out and out leading the charge, but I feel like I have to divide leader of the team percentage on the Spurs, I'd give 45-40% TP, 37%-35% Duncan.

TP's impact is higher than what a lot of people give him credit for.

There's a reason why when Pop sits his starters SAS still competes well. His system is like a well-oiled machine.
