I actually think the Seahawk game may have been worse, but this is also worthy of the title.

To be this unprepared is just unacceptable. It's not like Kaepernick had been unstoppable to this point.

Too many other dominant performances against us over the years. For a supposed top defensive coordinator, this shouldn't happen.

I think the defense is somewhat lucky that the schedule was relatively easy this year. If things don't change, we could be in trouble next year.

Well MM admitted that he wishes they went for it on 4th down in hindsight.

Nick Perry was on WSSP today and he pretty much said the same that C Wood said, regarding the lack of prep for the read option. How dumb could the staff be?

I was completely obliterated in Vegas watching that portion of the game in my friend's room and I had to get on my phone and post how dumb it was to punt there. We probably lose anyways, but damn.

Mike Mccarthy is REALLY lucky the Giants choked and blew that huge lead vs the Eagles week 15 2010.

Mike Mccarthy has been the Brett Favre of coaches when it comes to choking in big games minus 2010.

I think MM is fine in terms of X's and O's and but his play calling and overall decision making and just having his teams ready to play in big games has been very suspect since he's been the coach in Green Bay.

I think you're still overrating how much McCarthy has choked the big games here.

This coaching job doesn't compare to the Bronco's super bowl loss. Favre, Chewy and Frank partying in the gas lamp district until morning. Holmgren with one foot out the door. Not letting Dorsey Levens have the rock when he was knifing through the Denver defense. Breakdowns all over the place. And a 14 point favorite loses the super bowl to old man Elway. Disgusting.

I have come to the conclusion if Capers is kept and the D is just as horrible as it was these last few years, everyone should be canned. Ted on down.

The funny thing is, the quotes from Woodson post game, sounded exactly like the things LeRoy Butler was saying after that Owl.
Amos Barshad: "So you got a job, a place to live, a license? What’s left?"

Giannis: “Nothing. Just get a ring now.”

Is Mike McCarthy also REALLY lucky to win six consecutive games down the stretch, including 3 road playoff games, and a Super Bowl? Oh, but you'll conveniently ignore that fact to make your point.

Oh, and by the way, every **** Super Bowl champion needed some luck in order to win. Everyone needed the right combination of circumstances to come together to happen. No team does it all on their own.

This week is just so painful to read sports and NFL recaps/previews.

Today I read something like "the only thing I could think of that reminded me of the Packers' shock at Kaepernick and what the Niners were doing to them" was when the Rebels in ROTJ realized they were attacking an armed (and fully operational) battle station. And that it left Dom Capers (Admiral Ackbar) flabbergasted and wanting to retreat.

Or something like that. If only we had Admiral Ackbar, we might have won...

Yea, Shannahan and his staff really owned Holmgren in that Super Bowl.

As for McCarthy getting lucky to get into the playoffs when the Packers won it all because the Giants lost to Philly, those same Giants were then lucky to win it all last year given they barely even made it into the playoffs with just a 9-7 record. Any number of wins by other teams during the season would have left the Giants watching the playoffs last year instead of gaining the last Wild Card berth. This happens nearly every year. Hell, in 2007 the Giants also just barely made the playoffs, before eventually beating New England in the Super Bowl.

You can call the Packers lucky all you want and that the Giants choked but remember we lost our starting QB for 1.5 games (almost beat the Pats in New England with our backup) and something everyone always seems to forget, even after that choke job by the Giants all they had to do was beat us in week 16 to make the playoffs and knock us out. Packers won that 45-17.
