root cause of our wins?
what's the cause of our two game win streak? ...*antoni for actually realizing the def. and adjustments were costing us, so he changed a few things?...kobe for actually trying on def and doing quite well/passing?....pau for finally not being useless (his dnp's are resulting in the energy and heart that is the "clark knight,")?....or dwight for finally being the big man we knew he would be (he was acting like pau the 2nd prior)? soo what's the root cause of our wins?

Re: root cause of our wins?
lil bit of everything you mentioned, but these 2 wins at least gave us some hope. Beat the heat/thunder/clips/spurs at least once (road or home) with or without our 100% complete healthy squad and ill be convinced we have a shot at contending.

lol true, these past 2 months have been depressing for us fans. cannot believe with this lineup we're praying for a playoff spot...granted injuries/coaching changes...but still! why is that no one talks about other teams and their offensive system (clips/spurs/nets/ny)? everything is just so magnified in LA.

well we're classified as the yankees of the nba....soo everything we do gets magnetized....plus being that we have a big 5 (kobe, earl, metta, nash, dwight.) we're kinda expected to win automatically (just like the heat with the not 1, but 2 thing)....soo when things dont go our way then it's like hell froze over (which i have a tendency to believe, being that our lakers look like pussy cats in a jungle right now)...

Re: root cause of our wins?
We played at home against one of the leagues worst teams and the mediocre Bucks.
Granted we have lost plenty of home games to teams like that, but these wins don't really tell us a whole lot outside of our perimeter defense looking better.
The Heat game should be very telling about the state of this team. They are a poor road team so it should be a win if we play up to our potential.

Re: root cause of our wins?
Why wouldn't they have won those two?
They had a close game against The Clippers and against The Nuggets, both better teams. They had a close game against the Spurs without Dwight, and lost by 15 against the Oklahoma City without Dwight. Why wouldn't they win against Cleveland and Milwauke?
The Laker are only showing this month that they are at least a playoff team, something that everyone already knew they were.

we've lost a ton of games we "should" have won. it's refreshing to see us actually take care of business and dominate at the same time.

Re: root cause of our wins?
I think all the your causes are a stretch... The team has been putting more effort out, but they have done that in spurts all season. This team has lost more games without Pau playing.
Until this team has proven they are ready to compete every night with the big teams I will see these two wins as a product of playing two bad teams at home.

Re: root cause of our wins?
Our perimeter D looks better and Dwight is finally playing well. These last two games Dwight has been a monster. If he keeps that up going forward we're going to be very tough to beat.
Also, our perimeter shooting has been decent the past two games. Up to the last two games our shooting has been very inconsistent. It's nice to see some jump shots finally falling for us.

Re: root cause of our wins?
I'd say the fundamental root of the last two wins came in outscoring the opponent during the course of the game.

Re: root cause of our wins?
I'd like to know the average pace on our wins because I think the pace is what is causing us to lose so many games
